When trying to open the Online Gotha (from Paul Theroff) I get the message that they couldn't find the website.
The other websites by the same author, all on angelfire) are also absent.
Does anyone know what happened?

The Wayback Machine is a lifesaver, I swear. I have resorted to using this for various genealogy websites during service downtimes, including the Theroff site and the Marek site. It doesn't work so well with genealogics, unfortunately, because it's interactive rather than text based.

Interestingly, if you go to older versions of the Theroff site, you can see fuller versions of some family trees, from before Paul started using '--> Issue' to indicate where he'd trimmed minor or cadet branches. These older pages also sometimes contain names and dates which were later removed, presumably for privacy reasons at the person's request.

According to Paul Theroff, Angelfire has been shut down. See his post on the Peerage News discussion group:

An archived version is still accessible via the WayBack Machine. This is the most recent version:
Thank you so much! Very odd that a provider will just stop providing services. But at least we have the archive! Thank you for the link.
And I hope Mr Theroff will look for another provider. His work is so impressive and it would be such a shame if future royal genealogy enthusiasts won't be able to enjoy his work.
