Johan T Lindwall, editor-in-chief of Svensk Damtidning, writes that Victoria and Daniel are a power couple.
It's been over 20 years since they became a couple and in February they celebrated 15 years of engagement.
Traveling abroad together with Victoria and Daniel is really special, Lindwall has seen up close how they - side by side - work for Sweden and the Swedish monarchy. No big deal, but they do a great job together.
Lindwall says that Victoria and Daniel are every republican's nightmare.

Crown Princess Victoria's summer style - here are the style tricks and purchases that set the style

Daniel met some days ago dog expert Fredrik Steen, who has become the dog trainer of the celebrities in Sweden. Steen posted photos to his Instagram:

Hänt Magazine has interviewed Fredrik Steen about the meeting, what did he then do on royal land? He is secretive about that.
- I won't reveal much about Prince Daniel, but the dog in the photo is my dog! Well, as the yard gravel reveals, it wasn't just a coincidence, if we say so...
Okay! So you've helped a little with their (the royal family's) dogs?
- Hmm, I don't know how to answer that. Pass!
Fredrik is serious about never revealing details about the people he helps in his professional role.

Svensk Damtidning claims to know that Victoria held on August 17 an 80th birthday party to Ewa Westling at Haga Palace and that Victoria and Estelle had jointly baked a cake.

A woman met Victoria yesterday in the afternoon or evening, she tells at her Instagram (no photos with Victoria):
As the icing on the cake, we met Crown Princess Victoria who was out running. Not once, but twice! She cheered happily and smiled in recognition the second time we met. Think I've got a new BFF."

Although having many events on Tuesday, the day of the Opening of the Riksdag session, Victoria and Daniel had time to visit the vernissage of Lars Nilsson's exhibition "A Striped Horizon" at Carling Dalenson gallery in Stockholm.
"Honored to have received a visit from Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel ..."

Daniel celebrates today his 51st birthday.
The Royal Court publishes a photo Victoria has taken of him during a private visit to Jämtland.

Margareta Thorgren said yesterday to Svensk Damtidning that Daniel celebrates with his family privately, the Royal House doesn't comment on how or where they celebrate. He looks forward to it.

The Royal Court Parish at its Instagram
H.R.H The Crown Princess new Chair of the Church Assembly of the Royal Court Parish!
It is with great pleasure that the Royal Court Parish can announce that H.R.H. The Crown Princess agreed to take over the chairmanship of the Parish's Church Assembly.
- We are very happy and proud that the Crown Princess has chosen to undertake this important mission. But this is not only about the Court Parish, the Parish of the Head of State, but is of the greatest importance for the entire Church of Sweden and Christianity in our country! It makes clear the close bond that exists between the Church of Sweden and the Royal House, says Michael Bjerkhagen, The Reverend, Court Chaplain and Rector of the Royal Court Parish.
The Church Assembly is the Court Parish's highest decision-making body and corresponds to the church councils of other congregations. The Church Assembly decides on matters of principle that are of greater importance, for example goals and guidelines for the business and the budget. The Church Assembly also elects members and substitutes for the Select Vestry.
Princess Christina, Mrs Magnuson, has for many years been Chair of the Court Parish's Church Assembly, but decided to leave the position in connection with her 80th birthday.

A comment: The Crown Princess's new role is important in one of the world's most secularized countries
Carl XIV Gustaf's heir to the crown - Crown Princess Victoria - played a major role in the production of Queen Silvia's Prayer book. But not only that. Now she steps in as chairwoman of the Church Assembly of the Court Parish.
It is not obvious that someone born in the late 1970s cherishes the important role of the church and the Christian faith - in her own life and as a future monarch and head of state of one of the world's most secularized countries.
So whether you prefer presidents or royalty – there is reason to pray for, and thank God for, the Swedish royal house.

A new donation professorship in prevention is being established at Karolinska Institutet. It will be named Prince Daniel's Professorship in Cardiovascular Prevention and will be awarded to researcher and obstetrician Ylva Trolle Lagerros, who took up the position on 1 October. The aim is to reduce the incidence of cardiovascular diseases in Sweden.
The new professorship has been made possible through donations from the Norhed Foundation via the Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation, the health analysis company Werlabs, the vehicle manufacturer Scania and Region Stockholm.

Already in February 2023 Karolinska Institutet announced that thanks to donations from numerous actors totalling SEK 23 million, Karolinska Institutet was able to create a new professorship in prevention medicine. The professorship was named after its patron, HRH Prince Daniel.

This Sunday, Crown Princess Victoria attended a christening at Mallorca Cathedral, in Spain.
She was at the baptism of Constantin Leopold, the son of her cousin Helena Christina Sommerlath.

I wonder whether she is one of the godparents of little Constantin Leopold.

So the boy will be raised as Roman Catholic?

This Sunday, Crown Princess Victoria attended a christening at Mallorca Cathedral, in Spain.
She was at the baptism of Constantin Leopold, the son of her cousin Helena Christina Sommerlath.

Constantin Leopold is the son of Helena Sommerlath Sohns and Jan Martin Sommerlath Sohns. Helena and Jan have daughter Amalia, born in 2022, Queen Silvia and Victoria attend Amalia's christening in Mallorca in October 2022.

Professor Dr. Jan Sommerlath Sohns is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as specialist in nuclear medicine and radiology at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. He is also a professor at Hannover Medical School, specializing in Nuclear Medicine. Helena Sommerlath Sohns works as a Specialist in Orthodontics at the University Hospital Cologne.
Helena and Jan got married in Mallorca in 2017, queen Silvia and Victoria attended the wedding.

The tourists in front of Palma's Cathedral were amazed when Crown Princess Victoria got out of a minibus.
The christening was led by the German pastor couple Martje Mechels and Holmfried Braun. It took place under the cathedral's beautiful main rose window, and a particular highlight was when the sounds of John Lennon's "Imagine", played by a saxophonist, echoed through the impressive walls of the church.
After the ceremony the other guests discreetly left the cathedral to go to a private lunch.

Victoria had her aide-de-camp lieutenant commander Tobias Widén at the wedding, the man on the left, now at civilian clothes:

Queen Silvia's hairdresser Peter Hägelstam was interviewed at Radio Sweden's podcast "The Monarchs".
He was also asked how Victoria feels about her hairstyle. It is on extremely rare occasions that Victoria lets her curls out. Hägelstam tells why Victoria most often has her hair up in public contexts - unlike, for example, Madeleine.
- First of all, I think she has a good taste for how she wants to look and with that also how she shouldn't look. It is clear that the crown princess has curly hair, and then the weather takes care of it and it can look very private, a bit like anyone else, which she actually is not. When she has her sleek style and all that, then I see her eyes, cheekbones and beautiful profile. I see that when she has a perfectly clean ponytail, it's just like that: Yep!. She is beautiful in it. Then there are occasions where you see her with open hair or a private picture, it can be charming to see that too.

Victoria was planned to give today an audience to representatives from WWF ahead of WWF's autumn meeting, which will take place later this autumn.
The Deputy director of court's information department Johan Tegel confirmed that Victoria had to cancel:
"Today's planned audience has subsequently been canceled when it emerged that the Crown Princess, due to her officer training, does not have the opportunity to participate in this year's autumn meeting."

Already in 2008, Daniel's good friend Alessandro Catenacci confirmed that they invested together in a luxury project in Brazil. They would build an exclusive hotel and grand villas in Itacaré in Bahia.
- It is intended that all the co-owners should build their own house, Daniel too. When they are not there, they can rent out the house, Catenacci told Expressen at the time.
In 2019, project manager Juliana Ghiotto confirmed to Dagens Nyheter that one of the villas in the Brazilian rainforest is owned by the artist Tomas Ledin, another by Alessandro Catenacci and another house by Daniel.
The house that Daniel had built is on a fenced peninsula on a hill in a tropical forest in Itacaré.
However, Daniel no longer owns the house there, according to Ulrika Näsholm, information officer at the court.
- As it concerns a previously privately owned residence, it is not something we comment on. No member (of the royal family) owns any residence in Bahia, Brazil.

Jessica Schultz, the Chairman of the Steering Group of the Prince Daniel's Fellowship, celebrated her 40th birthday with a "Pacha Ibiza" theme party in Stockholm at the weekend.
According to Expressen, Victoria and Daniel attended at the party.

Wow, such an exciting match.
Sweden's national basketball team created history at Hovet with an exciting victory over Germany in the European Championship qualifier.

The Swedish Basketball Federation published these photos yesterday, November 25.
"Royal both outside and on the pitch.
Many thanks to the Crown Princess family who, together with the rest of the record crowd, cheered on the men's national team to the historic victory over Germany at Hovet last Friday!
HRH Prince Daniel has been Swedish Basketball's patron since 2019, where he gets involved and promotes basketball and SBBF's activities in various ways."

Nice family outing

Prince Daniel and Princess Estelle viewed an Wåhlstrand exhibition with the artist herself:

Earlier this week, Gunnel Wåhlstrand welcomed Prince Daniel and Princess Estelle to Waldemarsudde. 🌊At the museum, a larger Wåhlstrand exhibition is currently underway, showing partly early works, partly newly produced paintings by the artist.

Prince Daniel and Princess Estelle viewed an Wåhlstrand exhibition with the artist herself:

About the exhibition
Since her debut in the early 2000s, artist Gunnel Wåhlstrand (b. 1974) has worked with the meticulous and time-intensive technique of ink wash.

Museum director Karin Sidén from Prince Eugen's Waldemarsudde tells Svensk Damtidning about Daniel and Estelle's visit:
- It was a very nice visit! We feel so happy and honored. And we who were there noticed that Princess Estelle has a great interest in art. She asked many interested and curious questions.
Estelle also received a unique tour: Gunnel Wåhlstrand herself told about her works and about the exhibition.
And they rolled back home to Haga around 18.00, with the exhibition catalog in hand and a TV tip from Karin: The fine documentary about Gunnel Wåhlstrand which is currently available to watch on SVT Play.
