It doesn't seem to be a favourite of Queen Silvia's but I really like the Baden Fringe Tiara.

She has worn it more in the 80's and 90's. I guess that she wear it not as often is also because after the Will of Queen Victoria it should be mainly for the use of the Crown Princess if there is one

As far as i remember, the state visit dinner in Poland in 2011 was not a tiara-occassion.

So unless the new president has upgraded it, i don’t think Silvia will wear a tiara.

As some fellow posters highlighted the black tie banquet probably will be without tiaras, based on the last state visit. Instead it would be nice to see some nice earrings and substantial necklace. I would love to see Edward VII Ruby Tiara worn as a necklace again, a nice echo of the Polish flag.

I think Mary will wear the Pearl Poire tiara in Australia.

If Australia follows the same pattern as Canada, the state dinner will be black tie with the Governor-General wearing a national order (in this case, the Order of Australia, which is worn on a necklet, or a bow ribbon for the ladies). Tiaras would be OK for visiting queens (Queen Mathilde wore a small tiara in Canada for example), but maybe the Pearl Poire parure would be too grand for this occasion.

If Queen Mary wears a tiara in Australia - my vote is for the Midnight tiara which, if I recall, has an ode to Australia with the included moonstones. Plus, the midnight tiara has matching earrings and brooch that she could also wear. And it has been a long time since she's worn it.

Or, she could surprise and pull something out of the depths of the vault that has not been seen in 200 years.

In that case I'm on team cat. I'm ok with the pigions fluttering a bit.
Any sign that the BRF is moving towards more tiara sharing would be welcome. And I'd love to see Anne included. I think the emerald kokoshnik would be nice on her as well. Actually, it's a beautiful tiara and I'd also like to see it on Kate or Sophie.
Also, I would really like to see the Vladimir on the Camilla. I'm sure that it would look great on her.

But my guess is that it will be less exciting, with the girls, lover's knot and aqua-necklace tiara.

In that sense Anne would be the best to wear it IMO as she is a "blood Princess" and can anyone really argue with her wearing her great grandmother's tiara.

That said I doubt we will see it any time soon, the RF have enough tiaras, and maybe even still a few in the vaults, to need to pull one that would cause such a fuss.

I concur, there are plenty of other tiaras to use, and we are unlikely to see the QM bandeau emerge any time soon.
