I am hoping Mary will wear something from the Crown jewels: either the Emeralds or the new diamond bandeau she had made. Much as I love the Pearl Poire tiara, it is one of the few Queen tiaras she can actually take abroad, so probably best worn overseas.

I can’t show happy I am to see Isabella’s name starting to be mentioned in this thread and can’t wait to see her sister Josephine in three years joining her or even the wife of count Nikolai!

As for Mary I hope she wear some parts of the crown ruby and pearl parure during any of the new year events!

Also the king of Sweden is going to turn 80 next April has any announcement around the celebration been announced?

I am hoping Mary will wear something from the Crown jewels: either the Emeralds or the new diamond bandeau she had made. Much as I love the Pearl Poire tiara, it is one of the few Queen tiaras she can actually take abroad, so probably best worn overseas.

I do feel like given the chances, Queen Mary will alternate between her three most historical tiara (the Rubies, the Emeralds, and the Pearls). Whilst I love the diamond bandeau, but it is pretty small (but mighty!) for such extravagant event.
