Tiaras and Jewels guessing for upcoming events: 2025

If there is a white tie gala in Oslo tonight, my guess will be that we’ll see The Queen wearing Empress Josephine’s Diamond Tiara, The Crown Princess wearing her Amethyst Parure, Princess Ingrid Alexandra wearing the Pearl Circle Tiara, and Princess Astrid wearing the Bird Wings or the Radio Antennas…

Looking forward to seeing what tiara Princess Ingrid Alexandra wears to the gala!

I can't see Ingrid wearing any other tiara than her 18th birthday Pearl Circle tiara for many years.

MM - Diamond Daisy but id would like to see the Vasa for a change up

We are about a week away from the French state visit to the UK, it might be a time to refresh our thoughts on what we might see our royal ladies wear.

Queen Camilla: GDV tiara with pearls, Queen Victoria pearl & diamond necklace
Catherine: Queen Mary Lovers Knot tiara, Queen Alexandra wedding necklace
Sophie: Papyrus / Lotus Flower tiara, one of the many Saudi diamond necklaces

Is Catherine confirmed to attend? That would be encouraging after she had to pull out from Ascot.

I would very much like to see the Queen wearing the GDV for the first time, but I hope for a different tiara for the Princess of Wales.

Catherine is confirmed to be taking part in events during the State Visit, though her attendance at the Banquet is not yet confirmed.

In fairness, Catherine's attendance at any specific event relating to the state visit has not been confirmed.

I only suggested "cooling" pearls for both Camilla and Catherine given the high temperatures in the UK. Diamonds or Aquamarines could also be used potentially.

And if Catherine goes for the all diamond look, I would love for her to wear the Queen Mary Fringe tiara.

My hope is for new-to-them tiaras for all, but here are my predictions:

Camilla: Sapphire Necklace
Catherine: Lovers Knot
Sophie: Wedding Tiara

My dream choices:

Camilla: Oriental Circlet
Catherine: GGBI
Sophie: Strathmore Rose

HM - Oriental Circlet (1st worn by QV in Paris) with Crown Rubies
PoW - Cartier Scroll with Greville Ruby Necklace
P Royal - Greek Meander Tiara
DoE - Aquamarine Ribbon Tiara with her aquamarine set in necklace form

Not going to happen but my wishes for the State Banquet are:

Camilla - Queen Victoria's Oriental Circlet

Catherine - Queen Mary's Sapphire Sunray Bandeau (last seen on Princess Margaret in the 60s)

Anne - the once worn Double Meander Tiara

Sophie - not really sure what new things Sophie might wear as I do think she has worn quite a few really

More likely choices:
Camilla - Still do think Oriental Circlet or Girls of GB
Catherine - Lovers knott tiara
Anne - Festoon Tiara
Sophie - Wedding Tiara

Don't think the Girls are likely as the are in the Edwardian exhibition.
A french SV would be the perfect occasion to finally bring out the sapphire bandeau. Would like to see this being worn by Catherine. And for the Queen no Idea, rubies or sapphires would be a note to the french flag. If yes then i hope to see the Oriental circlet and a new to her ruby necklace

What i would love to see

QC : Oriental Circlet Tiara och Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara with pearls

PoW : Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara

PR : Double Meander Tiara

DoE : Lotus Tiara

DoG : Teck Turquoise Tiara

What we probably will see

QC : Greville Diamond Tiara

PoW : Lotus Tiara

PR : Shipping Company Festoon Tiara

DoE : Wedding Tiara new version

DoG : Gloucester Honeysuckle Tiara

oh yes forgot the GGBT was on display, oriental circlet or burmese tiara then maybe?

If the Queen does receive the French Legion of Honour, then I can see the rubies being used. Camilla looks great in the Burmese, but it would be great to see her use the Oriental Circlet, and this may be a good occasion, paired with the Crown Rubies.

Else, it would be great to see the Grand Duchess Vladimir tiara with pearls. Could be paired with either the Queen Victoria pearl and diamond necklace, or the Queen Alexandra wedding necklace.

The oriental circlet tiara would be a great choice for Camilla to wear always great to see a new tiara debuted and pair with the Crown Rubies. I would love to see her debut a new brooch for the arrival - the coral rose brooch the late Queen wore on a French visit maybe?

The fact that the Girls of Great Britain Tiara is on display does not matter - if Camilla wanted to wear it then it would be removed for a few days. Let's not rule it out on that basis

I don't think Kate will attend due to her slower return to engagements - she will attend the welcome and lunch but I think she will skip the banquet

I also wouldn't be surprised if Catherine doesn't attend the banquet if she is attending the welcome ceremonies.

Whilst I agree Camilla could still use the Girls of Great Britain Tiara even though it is on display, I do think it makes it more unlikely as asking for a tiara back when you have plenty of others.

As The King is the owner of the tiaras and the other jewels he can ofcourse request them out of an exhibition any time he likes… It’s his belongings so who would have the authority to say no sir you can’t ?

But it would (in my opinion) look foolish to take out one of the most famous and publicly known items from an exhibition that people has paid money to see - when they have the vault packed with other options…

Camilla: GDVT or QV Indian Circlet
Catherine: Q Mother's Cartier Bracelet Bandeau
Anne: Her Diamond Festoon Tiara
Sophie: Queen Mary's Diamond Bandeau Tiara
Birgitte: Gloucester Diamond Laurel Bandeau

I can't see Catherine use the Cartier Bracelet bandeau, Queen Camilla uses those bracelets often. There are plenty of other tiaras for Catherine to choose from. I am quitely hoping for her to start to use the Queen Mary Fringe tiara.

Much as I would love for Sophie to start to use the Queen Mary bandeau, I don't think it will happen at a state visit. It will drive a lot of the conversation towards the tiara, and from the events at stake. But yes, at another event, certainly.

I understand the Queen Alexandra wedding necklace is on display at the Edwardians exhibition, so that is not an option for either the Queen or the Princess of Wales.

The grand ducal house just shared the e program of the accession on the 3rd of October and there is a gala dinner by the end of the day, should we expect it to be a tiara event and can we expect foreign royals in attendance?

I would guess tiaras yes. As for other reigning royals in 2000 Queen Beatrix and King Albert and Queen Paola attended, so perhaps we will see this yes again the dutch and belgian royal Couples attending. But in 2000 there was no Gala Dinner

I am pleased to hear about the Gala dinner. Lets see if we get to see the new Grand Duchess in the Empire tiara.

I believe it would make sense to invite all the Benelux monarchs, but there would have been confirmation by now on the Belgian and Dutch royal calendars if they had been invited, so I am a bit skeptical.
