If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Sonja and Silvia have AFAI remember always, on their many finnish state visits, gone with one of their grandest tiaras for visits to and from Finland, finnish state visits has always been considered on par with a royal state visit in Norway and Sweden who I belive have visited every president, which I dont think Margrethe did?

If the trip to Italy is a state visit that includes a dinner, I think Queen Camilla will either wear the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland or a tiara she hasn't worn before.

The state visit dinners in Italy are usually business or black tie.

Camilla has not worn tiaras to black tie dinners since the accession so i have low hopes there.

She can wear a brooch on her hair!

:( I'm sick of black tie dinners. Bring out the jewels!

To be fair, I was prepared to be disappointed at the Versailles dinner, but Camilla looked stunning. Hopefully she dresses up for this one too.
Yes lets hope she at least brings one of her stunning demi-parures

And who would have guess that Mary would wear the gold bandeau tiara!
Quite right.

Would love to see her use the citrine necklace sometime.

I could imagine her wearing her wedding tiara, the Edwardian necklace tiara or the midnight tiara, nobody was expecting this! Nobody knew of its existence

The Commonwealth Day service is coming up. Query if the Queen will debut a substantial brooch this year as well, as she did in 2023 (the Russian sapphire brooch) and 2024 (the heart shaped aquamarine).

Hope so and please a new to her brooch. There are so many brooches of the late Queen and Queen Mother she hasn't worn yet

I would love to see the Richmond brooch emerge again. Or Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee brooch, much loved and used by QEQM.

Or the Teck brooch. But there are so many brooches. Don't know all. Unfortunatley The blog the Queen's Vault where they all were listed is no longer accessible.

Quite right.

Was sad to see the Queens Jewel Vault stop publishing a few years ago, and then dissappear,it was a great blog.

any guesses for a tiara for Princess Isabella's 18th?

could daisy 'loan" her the turquoise tiara? or will we see a new purchase from auctions?

I'd like to see her wearing her mum's wedding tiara or even the turquoise bandeau!

Here is my preferred option: I secretly hope that they bought Queen Alexandrine's diamond bandeau from the Rosenborg countesses after they inherited it from Princess Elisabeth. But then, Countess Josephine might have kept it for herself, as it's the tiara she used to wear.

I too think the Roseborg Countesses will keep the bandeau and the spike tiaras from their mother for themself so they have tiaras for Weddings etc.

It still exists thanks to the Wayback Machine, as does Order of Splendor. From Her Majesty's Jewel Vault

Princess Elisabeth of Denmark's sapphire tiara was not inherited by the countesses, but by one of their ex-husbands who sold it to someone outside of the royal family.

My guess for Isabella is one of her mothers tiaras.

I'd like to see Isabella having her own tiara for her 18th birthday ,there are plenty of jewel auctions and it would be wonderful to see a new tiara!

Eventually they will need new tiaras anyway. The Queen doesn't have enough tiaras to share with her daughters and possibly two daughters-in-law.

But for now her wedding tiara could be worn by Isabella. It doesn't feel right for a Queen, or even for a Crown Princess TBH but it is perfect for a younger princess.

Princess Elizabeth didn’t marry at all, her jewelry were inherited by her brother and nieces!

Really. Why did the Princess leave her tiara to a former husband of one of her nieces?

I hope that they will stop with the Personal tiaras but rather start a pool of smaller tiaras which then can be shared by Isabella, Josephine and a possible wife of Vincent

It is indeed a great pity they couldn´t come to an understanding with the Rosenbergs about the various tiaras. The saddest loss though is the tiara of the Css of Fredensborg, it should never have left the main line. No other RF has lost this many tiaras post WWII, not even Belgium.

True. The Danish Royal Family should come to an agreement and create a kind of foundation like the Swedish Royal Family to preserve the family's main jewels, especially the tiaras, and try to recover some of them.

I concur. Rather than buy tiaras for individual members of the next generation, it makes sense to buy a few more tiaras and for Mary to keep them under her control. They can then be lent out to various family members as and when required. A formal foundation is not required, but a simple system of lending, as and when required.

That would not only protect tiaras from leaving the family. Also, the young princesses could share the tiaras and wouldn't be bound to only one tiara. It's rather boring to see a lady wear the same tiara over and over again.
