Björn Nyman has been appointed by HM the King as court trumpeter from 30 April.
Björn Nyman, born in 1974, has a long military musical career. He is employed in the Army's music corps and also involved in several Swedish baroque orchestras.
He has played at Court's ceremonies and celebrations since 1995, including as a trumpet soloist at the wedding of Victoria and Daniel. He also played music repeatedly during the King's Jubilee year in 2023.
There are now two court trumpeters at the Court: Olle Hermansen and Björn Nyman.

Pastor of the Royal Court Parish Michael Bjerkhagen spoke at SVT's Helgmålsringning this evening at SVT1 and SVT Play.
The weekend is rounded off with reflections from churches around Sweden. Helgmålsringning began to be broadcast every Saturday in 1970 and continues to do so today. This means that the program is one of the oldest broadcast on SVT.

The Institute’s mission is to promote ethical decision processes within business as well as within the rest of the community and to prevent the use of bribes and other types of corruption as a means for affecting decision processes.

The investigation presents proposals for how the court process can be made more efficient and safer for those who participate. In connection with this, a press meeting is held together with the Minister for Justice and the special investigator, the Marshal of the Realm Fredrik Wersäll (former president of the Court of Appeal).

Radio Sweden P4 Kalmar reports that an employee of the Royal Court has been threatened on the King's hunting grounds on Öland last weekend.
The Police were called after an elderly man allegedly threatened a person who, according to information from the police, is employed at the Royal Court. The employee was part of a hunting team that was there to hunt on the King's land. The older man was not part of the hunting team. The threats were of a verbal nature and the police have held an inquiry into the matter. An investigation is now underway to clarify what happened.
