Watched both episodes. I found it interesting, the first episode I found particularly emotional. The monarchy is in a safe place with William, he is a wonderful young man, carrying on his mother’s work. Using his position to try and make a difference.

The critics' main issues are that the programme wasn't political enough, and the usual rubbish about how someone who has a lot of money and homes shouldn't be talking about homelessness. Only someone who *does* have a lot of money is going to be in a position to draw attention about the subject. The TV channels are not going to commission a documentary made by Joe Bloggs. And they know very well that members of the royal family can't talk about politics.

What he is trying to look at , are the reasons people end up homeless. To stop the cycle was used quite a bit in the programme.

I watched episode one tonight; his team has apparently looked at models all over the world and are doing pilots in the UK based on a model in Finland. As you said the goal is to provide the needed mental health support in addition to housing. The classic “one strike you’re out” model isn’t successful for addicts who generally relapse a number of times before (and if) they are able to become and stay sober. His model sounds research based and I think he’s using his platform to bring attention to important societal issues. It is quite ambitious but I was impressed.

Honestly I am not sure that it will ever end if the unannounced visits are occurring in Northern Ireland.
IMO you can see him developing in to his role, he has stood up a notch since becoming POW, followed by the illness within the family. He is nobodys fool, has been well trained by his grandmother. He appears to have his own thoughts on how things should be run, it will be interesting to see if he steps back again once the KIng is in better health.
So good to see Catherine out and about, supporting the causes she cares about.
