Returning in our time machine to Tuesday, 4 June 2002 (turning the dial in the Delorean, if you will, to set our new date of destination)
.....a few more pictures (all from corbis & rex) of the procession from the palace of the royal family, on their way to the St. Paul's service
Her Majesty and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh rode in the Gold State Coach, while the rest of the principal members of the family rode in open carriages in following groups:
1) The Duke of York, Prince William, Prince Harry, and Princess Beatrice
2) The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Princess Eugenie
3) Peter and Zara Phillips
The Princess Royal rode on horseback in uniform as Colonel of the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals regiment.
The pictures in the following gallery don't show them, but I presume the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Kent also rode on horseback following the state coach, as colonels of their respective regiments.
Without further ado, the final gallery for 4th of June
......... if only we could travel to the future to watch the Diamond Jubilee in 2012
