The Princess of Wales's Eveningwear Part 2: July 2025 -

The brooch is lovely. I don't like the dress at all. I had a similar dress with the white collar--many years ago now when I was a little girl. It might look better on Charlotte.

It’s not a look I can get excited about, but then the occasion isn’t meant to be a fashion parade. She looks okay, but I have preferred her outfits worn in previous years.

Maybe if the collar was a muted gray but the stark white contrast is a bit distracting.

I love the Alessandra Rich dress on her — she looks proper and elegant, but easy and relaxed and has a glow. It’s a nice balancing point between some of her more overly-casual (not that she wears those for evening) and overly-styled looks.

Not a good look at all!.
Brings me flash backs to my "church" dress from the 1980s with the huge white collar.
She has so many black dresses, this can go back

Glad I scrolled past first photo. It looked like (due to position of photo) she had a bizarre cape going.

Dress is beautiful color. And I love the design and fit. Perfect choice. And love seeing the earrings.

But if she is going to keep the length, she needs new hair styles especially with formal looks.

Beautiful!

I like everything about it: the colour, fabric and cut - great! Hair and makeup are great as well!

Agreed. I love this dress and her whole look! So pretty and festive. The green velvet seems particularly appropriate as we head into the Christmas season. It fits like a glove.

Jewelry is fabulous.

Lovely! A classic velvet gown, in a rich green. And proper diamonds to match. Love it.

Festival of Remembrance this evening - an Alessandra Rich dress, with her HMS Glasgow brooch. Also apparently according to twitter a poppy designed by Izzy Ager of Lock & Co, a graduate of the Royal School of Needlework, handmade from silk, glass and natural materials.
I think if the collar was smaller I would have liked it more

Horrible collar, unless she was one of the pilgrims in the Mayflower minus the big belt buckle. The width of that collar, and the contrasting white color, takes all the attention away and that's not good.

What a contrast from post to post. In this last one she recovered herself from that USA Amish couture moment to an absolutely show-stopping look for the night.

Outstanding! The dark green velvet gown is one of her best evening looks.

What a fabulous look - velvet and festive on a very cold night in London.
Would I have a liked a necklace for the neckline yes but I’m being picky

It’s an older piece this gown from a number of seasons ago - maybe it been used for private events and only new to us

The Princess looked wonderful and it was a cold night too and no jacket/shawl!

One of her best looks. Everything worked and was very flattering!!

The Princess of Wales at the state banquet of the state visit from Germany this evening, December 3 - a great, very glittering look!

I do think the look is a bit OTT. She looks like the statue of Liberty or Sandra Bullock in the pageant scene of " Miss congeniality".
