The Princess of Wales's Daytime Fashion Part 4: May 2025 -

Info on the Victoria Beckham suit from last week - I had thought it was interesting timing to wear a VB piece on the same day the Netflix series on Beckham is released.

Catherine on an away day in NI - repeating an Alexander McQueen coat from 2020

I really like the second look with the separates teemed nicely together. A little different for her. The coat for the first engagement is fine but more predictable.

I have always liked the long McQueen coat, one of her best green coats, IMO.

The second country look in Northern Island yesterday was taste full and event appropriate.

Relieved to see a suit without the monochrome top. The last 2 suits head to toe one color, was too much. Nice look here with this one.

I like the first look in NI. Though think pants would have been more suitable for both visits. I like the coat and the top under it.

The second coat nothing memorable.

The suit is by Roland Mouret, and dates back to 2023.

Her beige suit looks much better than the all mustard green one. At least her blouse isn’t beige.
I like her countryside look; the waxed jacket, tweed midi skirt, and suede boots all go great together. I’m just not sure why she tucked her cardigan into the skirt, it looks odd. She needs a hair cut.

The tucked-in cardigan is apparently a thing now! Like many new fads, it looks better on some people than on others.

I prefer the colour of the suit worn for the meeting with the Crown Prince to the previous two and the coordinating blouse works well. However, the long, hanging tresses seem to me to spoil all her looks lately. If she doesn’t want to cut her hair, then she needs someone to style an up-do for her formal engagements ( such as this one).

Summary of the outfit details for the audience with the Jordanian royals - I am glad she went for a contrast with the blouse though after recent all matching colours.

I agree. The long hair drags everything down.

Same. There is just too much going on in the top off with the ruffled neckline, derailing in the coat, and lace napkin. Not a fan of the hat. The look looks too costumey.

The coat was lovely the first time, and with the proper hat.

The lace napkin ruffle kind of gives pirate vibes, sorry. Ruined a lovely coat. And missing the proper hat.

The hat is fine for a Remembrance Day appearance really, though nothing more.
However I really agree with others that the ruffle is unnecessary and spoils the outline of the coat.

Love the new hat and anything Catherine Walker. I am guessing that the lace is from a deceased family. Member honoring her memory.

I much prefer the coat without the ruffle.
Like you I prefer the coat without the ruffle, but I'm glad that the coat is a repeat.
Anything with annual royal Remembrance events in Denmark, The Netherlands, UK etc...I personally don't expect any thing other than is it black and appropriate to the occasion.

It just looks like a costume. No need to make a fashion statement, a black coat will do
I don't understand the lace ruffle detail. There is just too much going on with the ruffle, the elaborate hat, the detail in the coat. It crosses into costume territory. Sorry

Oh no! I don’t like that lace napkin or ruffle at all. She could’ve just wrapped it properly or used an actual scarf instead.
