The Princess of Wales visited the Mother and Baby Unit at the HMP & YOI Styal prison in Wilmslow, Cheshire today, February 11:

Another well judged outfit for the engagement- unfussy and warm. I like these suede boots which I think she has in several colours. A welcome change from the many black boots we see worn by royals a regular basis .

Its a really lovely outfit and very nicely put together colourwise!

The red coat is really lovely but not so keen on the black clothes underneath.

The Princess will be making Welsh Cakes later and maybe not the best colour for baking!
( flour is last thing you want on dark clothes)

A lovely coat and a good choice for a Welsh visit. I don’t mind the dark colour underneath, but would have preferred a lighter colour ( cream or white for flour disguise - but I guess she will be kitted out with an apron).

I thought the 2007 one was a lighter colour?

LE There was a light blue one and another one which could very well be the one she’s wearing today, brown/kaki/a dark colour.
 
I prefer the outfit worn in the afternoon. It’s a lovely combination. There’s also a more casual vibe which fits better with what William wore.
 
The Princess of Wales is in red at the Commonwealth Service, a re-wear of the dress with the bow she wore for the Carol Service in 2022, and then again for the South Korean state visit arrivals at Horse Guards in 2023. She has a new pill box hat on.
 
The hat isn't repeat from the New Zealand arrival - it was a red pillbox?

Pretty convinced that the red pillbox hat today is from the NZ tour in 2014 - Rebecca English notes is is by Gina Foster, as was the hat in question in 2014

Another complete rewear today from the PoW - she is in her era of focus on the event/my work/charity etc. Great to see - lots of her wardrobe deserves rewears. So many beautiful pieces I would love to see again - off the top of my head in particular the Platinum jubilee yellow outfit, Commonwealth day 2023 outfit, Ascot red outfit 2023, outfits from royal tours esp the earlier years

Love that red pillbox and good to see it again. Once again the Japanese choker doesn't go well with the neckline of her dress. With that big bow a simple one strand pearl would be enough (or even no necklace could be fine), and that pearl choker needs a wider neckline to shine, IMO it doesn't work with v-neckline (which she always does), hope she'd pair it with a square or scoop neckline someday.

A nice look from the Princess, and it’s good to see her rewearing this coat. I’m not a fan of the pill box hat with her hair down but I like the simplicity of it ( particularly as the coat has a large bow).
I agree about the choker not being the best choice, but the earrings are lovely.

Is the hat a repeat as well from a previous year's parade - 2022 I think?

Looks like a knitted style skirt underneath - maybe the dark version of the Sezane skirt she owns.

I love today's undo it is beautiful.
