Prince Charles’ eco-village Poundbury should be a model for rural expansion, according to a government review. . . . .
Ah memories. "And how's my little cabbages today?"

The early worm may get the worm . . . . . but it's the second mouse that gets the cheese! Or is it just that he who laughs last laughs longest! :D

Either way, Charles Rules :notworthy: (in this sphere at least). And boy is his mum proud!

Well, but unless the British pheasant market is looking for export opportunities (at which point it'll just be a case of people wanting to enjoy the good selection of imported food), I'm not sure what he was promoting.

Its not unusual for specialities from the home country to be served at special events - as somebody pointed out, where does the best fish for sushi come from - surely not the Solent! The sad realty is too many food miles before we get to eat our food.

Getting back to Charles and his eggs, what is wrong in wanting them cooked a certain way. At least he knows his mind!

The Prince of Wales courted controversy again last night when he announced that the credit crunch was a side-effect of a 'dangerous' world view which promoted conspicuous consumption and throwaway societies.

I'm glad PC is asking questions about the economic crisis. It's too simple isn't it- don't lend money to people who haven't got collateral. Please don't think me too cruel but those CEO's have been paid millions of dollars a year and they didn't even know that.

He's 60 and hasn't started his real job but we watched him work from dawn till dusk
At 60 - when most people plan to put their feet up - our heir-to-the-throne is yet to even start his proper job. Yet no one could accuse Prince Charles of being work-shy.

Great story. Thanks for posting it, Skydragon. :flowers: It reminds us of his self-deprecating sense of humour, and his genuine interest in people and his dedication. His long stint as Prince of Wales has enabled him to achieve a great deal.
