Saud (1902-1969) reigned 1953-abdicated 1964

Faisal (1906-1975) reigned 1964-assassinated 1975

Khalid (1912-1982) reigned 1975-1982

Fahd (1921-2005) reigned 1982-2005

Abdullah (1924-2015) reigned 2005-2015

Salman (1935 - ) reigned 2015-

All Kings from Saud onwards are the sons of Ibn Saud.

Im not a fan of Saudi Royals but ill post a question because they are quite interesting.

Which is your favorite Saudi royal and which is your favorite Saudi king?

Mine is Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud:cool:

Yeah, King Abdullah is alright as he is a slight 'reformist' although I do not like some of his politics. I am not a fan of the princes Sultan, Nayef and Mishaal.

I reckon King Faisal was good for abolishing slavery, introducing TV and starting women's education
 
In a PBS documentary i heard that when Faisal shut off the oil supply, he was threatened by the USA that a bombing of the Kingdom but Faisal just smile and said "Do whatever, we have been living in the desert on dates and we'll be very happy to go back to that."
