The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Family, May 7, 2025--

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
If the book is promoted as a parody there's not much Harry can't do to censor it anymore than going after USA's South Park or UK's Spittin' Image on the parodies inspired by their life.

It's political comedy of sorts and we have to say both Meghan and the person she calls 'H', or calls "my husband", are giving the world plenty of fresh material to laugh about.

I don't disagree -- and I'm not a Harry/Meghan fan -- but I'd offer a slightly different take on the points you made here.

I totally agree about "Planet Meghan," but I see it more as her taking center stage because she's the spouse with marketable skills for revenue generation. Say what you will about Meghan's ventures and approaches, but no one can fault her for trying to make something work.

The picture-posting strikes me as a sign that they are very much in sync. Anytime someone does something that could cast a negative light on or draw attention away from Team Sussex, and a picture or announcement pops up. Whether that's driven by Meghan's instincts or a PR firm running social for them, it works.

As far as her calling him, "my husband," that seems normal to me. "H" is a little cringeworthy, but maybe she actually calls him that. (I remember reading years ago that Andrew had his friends and shipmates call him "H" -- short for "Your Royal Highness.")

But Meghan is probably damned if she does/damned if she doesn't no matter what she calls him. If she calls him "Harry," some will says she's being too informal. If she calls him "Prince Harry," they'll say she's being pretentious. If she calls him, "the Duke," they'll claim she's rebranding him.

Her PR is so bad she just really can't win.
I think you are correct in that she can never win. There is IMO a sense of all over the place, let us throw lots of things at the wall and see what sticks.
So why is her PR so bad?
There was Archewell…what is it actually doing? Anything!
The glossy promo for ARO then nothing for months then it sunk without trace.
Jam, no spread that we are meant to believe is made in the kitchen by Meghan.
As Ever, is that still on the go, I know everything was sold out in minutes but is there anything else on it to buy.
With Love Meghan, that was not a cooking show but how to elevate but Meghan is so busy elevating she doesn’t have time to cook so elevates take away dishes.
How can you promote your show as a homemaker, with all these bits and bobs you have in somebody else’s kitchen that your followers can buy but then admit she doesn’t have time to cook.
But she is not too busy to go to concerts to show they are a couple,
Podcasts ,Along with many others I have never listened so cannot comment.
I have came to the conclusion that the actress in her needs a role to fill, she needs a script to follow, I don’t think Meghan actually knows who she is.
Even some of her outfits are based on others. She is jumping from role to role .

You’re absolutely right about Meghan Markle’s lack of direction. It seems like she’s constantly trying to reinvent herself—whether it’s as a humanitarian, a homemaker, a wellness guru, a relatable mom, a political player, or a Hollywood insider.

The problem is that none of these personas really stick because they don’t feel genuine. Authenticity isn’t about trying to be something you think people want—it’s about being consistent with who you are, even as you evolve. Meghan’s approach feels more like she’s chasing public approval rather than staying grounded in a clear sense of purpose.

What she doesn’t seem to grasp is that when you find yourself in a hole, the first step is to stop digging. Instead, Meghan keeps doubling down on new ventures without addressing why the last one didn’t work out. The result is a string of half-baked projects and abandoned initiatives that make her look increasingly desperate.

...The result is a string of half-baked projects and abandoned initiatives that make her look increasingly desperate.

The chaotic end results we see on the news and articles presented at RFs have one common denominator: her constant, unpredictable and public re-inventions from company names to products that don't go anywhere but the social media accounts are her approach to business.

The interview we saw a few days ago where she discussed, or bragged about, her many roles as she omitted mentioning anything practical done by 'my husband H' tells a story of an unskilled entrepreneur that surrounds herself with enablers instead of business partners and advisors because the later will tell her how to market a business while the enablers focus on how to market Meghan and Meghan only.

She had talented people that can guide her, or just tell her to stop announcing projects unless a trademark is secured, but mostly leave in frustration. At this point I have no clue how to salvage this, but I recall saying in late 2024 that I hoped she could get her act together in 2025.

My main advice for her now would be, please stop talking. If every interview is a long tirade about yourself, what you do and what you advice the viewer to do, it's exhausting. If she has a social cause to champion then make the effort to know about it for a better explanation on why it calls for concerns.

I don't want to hear 'empowerment' over an over without Meghan taking the time to explain why are people empower-less to start with? Education? Poverty? Unemployment? Unable to accept using flower petals as condiments? If the topic was Meghan fighting unemployment I'm sure she knows "H" could chime in with fresh ideas for a TedTalks forum.

We are now on past the 1st quarter of the year of a business launch mentioned last year, and nothing to show but a jar and a label. I don't know what surprises we will have from the Sussex between June to December 2025 but hope they keep the best for last.

Chaotic sums everything up, the basic concept although not original would appear a sound enough project.
Lifestyle programme, showing little bits of entertaining and cooking, using products all available on the website as the viewers are watching, Meghan wearing clothes also available for purchase. I expected a ' Meghan ' range of crockery, cutlery, tableware, recipe books, garden furniture, jars of jam, honey, cakes, sweets, etc etc. maybe even a range of wine.
Maybe stop pretending that she is making everything in her kitchen, nobody falls for that nowadays, we all know it is mass produced.
Stop the pretence of a second series it is the first series cut in half. Maybe the website will be ready to sell by then, the sales might do well., I know they sold out but how many did they actually sell, and why no more in the pipeline, ready to take advantage of the series being on screen,

From the pictures shown of the Beyoncé concert, it looks as though every one of the thousands of seats is occupied, so apparently successful. If ticket sales were initially slow, it may be because people are concerned about their money in the current topsy-turvy financial situation.

The same simple arrangement technique but at least more colourful today ;)
and the flowers are of course beautiful themselves, with or without being arranged ;)

Yeah, she's either not talented at floral arrangement or just doesn't care to try and thinks this is good enough.

But, they are more colorful! And seasonal, too. :sneaky: And no one in the BRF is doing anything today for her to compete with, so good job Meghan!

Its reported that model, tv star and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen is rumoured to be a special guest in the next Season of 'With Love, Meghan'.
Meghan Markle lands a special guest for series 2 of her Netflix show - and Prince Harry 'doesn't make the cut'
This is why I'll never take Meghan and Harry's children and social media crusade seriously (aside from the fact that neither of them seem very well-versed in the issue beyond saying social media can be harmful to children). Chrissy famously bullied a teenage girl online and publicly urged her to kill herself. That now-adult woman has spoken about how detrimental Chrissy's bullying was to her. Chrissy also famously called a 9 year-old black actress a "c*nt" for no other reason than being precocious, articulate, and poised beyond her years. Chrissy claims to be a "different person" now, but for Meghan to invite her on her frothy cooking show is a bad look.

I'd have much more respect if she involved Chrissy in the social media crusade by discussing her past online bullying behavior, why she regrets it, and what people should learn so they don't follow in her footsteps. But just paling around with Chrissy in the kitchen? Nope. Do better, Meghan.

Well, I doubt Meghan is planning an Intervention for Chrissy. Imagine that girl pops out of a kitchen cabinet door underneath Meghan on the moment the studio locks them all in. That would be another Award pick up in the making! An episode about bullying worth for the ages starring Meghan and Chrissy.

I've never taken it seriously, because of their failure to publicly address and call out the Sussex Squad, but I did not know about CT and her behaviour. That really does look like shockingly poor judgment to have such a guest, and a missed opportunity if they do not address what happened in light of H&M's "crusade". Which proves IMO that it's all just shallow pretentious guff and they do not take anything seriously; just a series of compartments tailored to fit whichever persona they are trying to promote.

I had already been curious what to expect for the wedding anniversary...

I had already been curious what to expect for the wedding anniversary...

I expect to see more pictures of Meghan smiling for the camera, we don't have enough of them. And Harry positioned behind her or being held off the center of the picture because that spot is for her and her only.

I also expect to see celebrity friends, and them too placed off center, and one picture or two of Meghan facing the camera while holding the kids who will be showing us the back of their heads only.

To finish the celebration, we can always have one more video of Meghan decorating something with flowers or opening a package of fruits into a basket as she giggles. Remember, this is to celebrate her anniversary to be married to fame, fortune, no more TV shows, world travel, and with Harry as the Plus One guest on the party.

Yes, and I was also curious which date they would celebrate:

“You know, three days before our wedding, we got married. No one knows that,” she told Winfrey in their CBS interview.

Ah yes, which date to pick to celebrate - the real one or the made up one.

Meghan seems to have a lot of time to put so much work into a anniversary social media post.

Hmm I knew Chrissy Teigen was controversial for a reason, defo a poor choice. Meghan and Harry don't seem to realise that to be taken seriously they have to practice what they preach all of the time, not just when it suits. If you have a company selling greener travel you can't travel by private jets, if you talk about your children's privacy you can't use them to advertise and market your own products when it suits, if you promote kindness on social media you can't then pick a celeb known for bullying online for your tv show because she's the only D list celebrity you can book, or indeed let your so called "squaddies" go after people online in your name without calling them out. If you do, no one takes you seriously.

“You know, three days before our wedding, we got married. No one knows that,” she told Winfrey in their CBS interview.

Her celebration includes ten years from separation from most, if not all of the friends that cheered her for landing a rich celebrity prince. And it will celebrate years of distance from the one that set her up on that date, a decade of celebration from telling her niece she was told by the royals no room for family at her wedding on either side of the parents. I mean, where was a complete stranger like George Clooney and wife to sit at the wedding?

Which wedding date would she celebrate? I guess both as long as is to celebrate her anniversary, As Ever

...Hmm I knew Chrissy Teigen was controversial for a reason, defo a poor choice...

And I don't believe a word out of Teigen's mouth because her apology was only produced after her bullying was exposed.

from the article:
"...Teigen described herself as a troll in Monday's post, and said she was sorry.
"Words have consequences and there are real people behind the Twitter handles I went after," she wrote.

"...Teigen said believing she was making harmless quips, she continued sending crude tweets at celebrities, thinking it "made me cool" and was eager to join a "pop culture pile-on."

per her victim
"...She wouldn't just publicly tweet about wanting me to take 'a dirt nap' but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself," Stodden said. "Things like, 'I can't wait for you to die.'"
Teigen said in her post that she had publicly apologized to one person, which appears to be Stodden although she did not specify who that person was, but said she was in the process of privately contacting others she had insulted..."

Can't wait to see if this will be brought up when she speaks with Meghan, the champion of anti-bullying and empowerment of empower-less people.

I’d like to wish Harry and Meghan a very happy seventh wedding anniversary, and many more years together. They have been together since first dating in mid 2016. Seven years and two children is a fine achievement in my eyes.
I’d like to say that I admire and respect your steadfast loyalty to the Sussexes.……Many on these forums may disagree with you, but you don’t seem to take the bait, remaining true to your own beliefs. Long live free speech 💬

Very well put!

Yes, it sounds like she’s saying Happy Anniversary to her readers😳

Detailed explainer about why PH lost the RAVEC case:

"What about his complaints about reckless paparazzi following his vehicle? Did he not have a case there? In a word, no. Ravec's job was to protect VIPs from people with "hostile intent", not photographers breaching his privacy.

The High Court ultimately described some of his submissions as having a "distinct air of unreality". This is wording judges use when they have been really unimpressed with what they have heard - but don't want to sound rude."

From the article what draws my attention are these lines and PH quotes:
"I was born into this position...
At his first court hearing, in 2023, the prince said the UK was a place where he wanted his children "to feel at home" - but argued that can't happen "if it's not possible to keep them safe".
After losing his appeal, he said he "[couldn't] see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK".

What I take from it

1. his sense of entitlement and lack of comprehension how security works toward the Royal Family and even toward any elected UK public officer.

2. He uses the singular to refer on his feelings that he wanted the children to be raised in the UK. The pronoun 'we' and 'his children', and in both parents, seems to be missing from the equation.

I'm afraid he has a disconnect with his reality that goes beyond this case in the UK court system that is still catching headlines. As in disconnect with the reality Meghan is the head of the family, the one we see making every effort to find how to make a profitable business idea to land and to be based in the USA, specifically within the Hollywood Celebrity community.

3. The current population of United Kingdom is 69,508,905 as of May 24, 2025 per Statistics Times and some of them are here with us at the RFs. They are also bringing up families in the UK and feel quite at home, and hopefully safe. Harry describes his situation as a very individual thing, where the world around him while at the UK, is a dangerous one for his family to be in.

I have a feeling he has gone to a point of no return, as he walks on a residential area street with hired body guards, ringing strangers' doors to look out for a friend that is just a cellphone and a Google Map call away. As with life, the solution is right on his hands and he still can't comprehend it.

Let's hope the case is dropped and he returns to his home in Montecito to relax and enjoy a nice fruit plate presentation done by his wife. And to chow it down with Napa Valley wine as he gets those UK Courts out of his head.

What do you mean by 'the case is dropped'? I thought he had already exhausted all his options, so the decision of the judges is final.

From the reviews it looks like a bit of humorous silliness that will probably appeal to Harry Potter fans in particular! Hopefully Harry/Meghan won't waste more money on lawsuits.
Isn't Harry "Windzor" supposed to be the hero of this book (and Prince Will the villain)? If so, it seems to come from Team Sussex and I don't see any reason to sue.

The case is over he lost his final course of action, I know I am repeating myself but he will receive appropriate security on his visits here with the proviso he provides notice to the security services or whoever it is you advise. If he stays at a royal palace they are already secure areas, but all this is not good enough for Harry he wants the security at his beck and call to provide the 5 or 6 black car convoy with the blacked out windows. To emphasise how important he thinks he is.
