It's a shame he couldn't be so outspoken about his "love for Africa" when it came to the Baka people....![]()
Prince Harry writes foreword to new book in surprising move
Prince Harry has talked about his 'second home' in a foreword for a new bookwww.express.co.uk
Harry has written a foreword to a book on Africa. ‘The Duke of Sussex shared his thoughts about Africa in Steve Boyes’s book, titled Okavango and the Source of Life: Exploring Africa's Lost Headwaters, which will be released on March 3. The book follows the National Geographic explorer as he leads its Okavango Wilderness Project through Africa.’
An excellent choice for Harry to write on. His love for the African continent is well known and here he shares his thoughts on it.
If I remember correctly, he wore poppy on his lapel(?) right? So it's not like as if they hadn't realized it after the fact. Or is this another case of Nazi costume then blaming it on William because even now at his 40s, Harry still can't think for himself what he should wear or where he should be.And this sort of muddle to me is exactly why Meghan and Harry need proper, efficient admin staff who can handle their principals' commitments, mindful of 'royal optics'. Someone capable of anticipating the possible problems / difficulties in advance, you know, someone who can say 'This is Remembrance weekend are you sure, Harry? Or 'This will be a celebrity-led event and is this how you wish to present yourselves etc etc?

Yes. I do wish that Harry and African Parks had shown the Baka people the same love and respect that they had for its wildlife .It's a shame he couldn't be so outspoken about his "love for Africa" when it came to the Baka people....

I agree that it is becoming increasingly difficult for Harry to choose which role he wishes to present to the public. Not only he wore a poppy, he’s gone to Canada for “Remembrancetide” or something like that. Maybe if he chose what he wants to be it would be easier: either a celebrity or a form of royal. The thing is that royals, even though they mingle with celebrities, are not one of them.
This is the problem, he cannot let go of half in half out. Now we can see why his grandmother said no.I agree that it is becoming increasingly difficult for Harry to choose which role he wishes to present to the public.
A bit pricey, but no one is forced to buy them, so fair enough. It's a very pretty box, but $62 for four bars of chocolate seems very expensive!
Yes, it's beautiful. Compartes, the company with whom she partnered, is known for its beautiful labeling.the packaging is very pretty, i think my fave of the whole line
He almost certainly does surf in the Pacific sometimes. However Harry has seemingly become friendly with Raimaner and so enjoys learning some surfing tips from him. It’s extremely enjoyable, I should say.Does Harry know you can surf on the Pacific, too?
Just in time for Valentines Day but a rather expensive box of chocolates!Meghan's company 'As Ever' is launching a chocolate bar collection in partnership with Compartés. The set will include four flavoured bars, and is available through the website for $62.

Meghan Markle’s As Ever Launches New Chocolates
One of the new chocolate bars, made in collaboration with the Los Angeles-based chocolatier Compartes, is inspired by Meghan’s strawberry jam.web.archive.org
I think the box looks absolutely lovely, and would make a beautiful gift. But $62 is a lot for chocolate! I can't see what size the bars are, but I assume they are reasonably large.

We've had jam , sparkling wine , candles and now chocolate , I wonder what will ne next!
As ever by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex
Sorry to read that you've experienced a swimming related accident and I agree that wave pools offer people a safe environment in which to try a new water activity. The great thing about surf ranches like this is that the waves are controllable and repeatable - the surfer is not at the mercy of an unpredictable sea. Which some people may view as sacrilege, but other people may view as a massive help, especially during the learning phase. I would love to try something like this, because surfing looks fun, but I have a pretty serious fear of the ocean after a bad swimming accident ten years ago.
It's also a freshwater facility, which is another huge plus point, IMHO. I can't stand salt water. Although that may be a holdover from my accident as well.
And you don't have to worry about sharks! The great thing about surf ranches like this is that the waves are controllable and repeatable - the surfer is not at the mercy of an unpredictable sea. No sharks, but during this time of year in the Central Valley your biggest concern would be the notorious and dangerous Tule Fog. So driving to the pool wouldn't be recommended until it lifts. And you don't have to worry about sharks!
