The Duke of Braganza and his son, Afonso, visited the São João de Brito School in Timor, one of which the D. Manuel II Foundation provided Portuguese books and films to assist in the education of Portuguese in East Timor.

Duke of Bragança and his son, Afonso, visited the Portuguese School of Dili to learn about the reality of the school and education in East Timor.


 
The Duke of Braganza and his son, Afonso, were guests of honor at the “4th Conference of Luso-Asian Communities”, in Dili, East Timor.


 
The Duke of Braganza and his son, Afonso, attended the opening mass of the 4th Conference of Luso-Asian Communities - Challenges and Opportunities of a Secular Legacy, in honor of Saint Francis Xavier, at the Church of Santo Antônio de Motael, in Dili.


 
The Duke of Braganza and his son, Afonsom, inaugurated the D. Duarte Library, which is located at the College of Saint Anthony of Lisbon in Manatuto. The Duke of Braganza donated over 30,000 books through the D. Manuel II Foundation, establishing one of the largest libraries for Portuguese-speaking children and adolescents in Timor-Leste.


 
The Duchess of Braganza participated in the ceremonies of Queen Saint Isabel, which were held at the Convent of Santa Clara-a-Nova, in Coimbra.



The Duke of Braganza was present at the tribute session for the centenary of the death of the poet Antonio Sardinha.
