She looks very trim in both outfits. The evening dress is an elegant look . I think the brooch looks lovely and similar to the one Camilla is wearing in that it has been hand crafted by graduate students from the King’s Foundation for sustainability.

The Duchess of Edinburgh in Kenya today, February 25 - the Suzannah London landscape print dress has always been too busy for my taste (look 1), I therefore like the second dress much better:

While some of these dresses might be prettier in person, I don’t think that most prints photograph very well. I agree that the second look is better but certainly not my favorite.

Yes, that’s a good point, but they do seem to dominate her. She just hasn’t the presence or frankly the figure to pull off the look.Very few people have.

Day 2 was far better fashion wise than day 1 , Sophie can be hit or miss.

I like both of Sophie’s dresses. Sometimes the lights, stying and photographer can really change what we see in a picture and what would see if actually there. I wish that the person being photographed would take the time to get a phot of themselves before they actually go to an event, especially on TV when the lights can make a dress or blouse ‘see through’. Different slips could be used or even fifferent colored undergarments. Back to Sophie, I like both ‘dresses’. She has a beautiful smile.
