The Duchess of Edinburgh's Fashion and Style, Part 2: July 2024 -

Not keen on the first look- the long, tulip shaped skirt isn’t a good look on her. I much prefer the second appearance. An interesting colour palette for this event.

I like the white top and paisley skirt but not for a Christmas concert and not with tan suede boots

I agree with you. It's not "Christmasy" at all but I like the outfit.

The white jacket/coat is nice but sadly all looks slightly mismatched.

Yesterday evening, December 11, the Duchess of Edinburgh attended a reception for the Big Give Christmas Challenge, wearing a lovely black dress:

A very elegant black dress but it screams out for some kind of necklace. Her shoes are very nice with this dress.

Totally agree. The Duchess could have looked very lovely she’d reigned it in a bit. I particularly love the shade of the coat with the blouse.

The Duchess of Edinburgh at the Christmas Day church service today - I really like the coat and colour, the shape of that hat in this combination not that much:

As much as I like pillbox hat, this hat always reminds me Kinopio from Mario.

I suspect the hat would look a lot better if worn further back on the head, and on an angle.

The coat was really lovely but the hat didn't work.

A hotchpotch indeed. I’m not sure if she has a stylist but it seems to me that she has had quite a few of these ill matching outfits of late. She seems to have a generous clothing allowance as we don’t see that many repeats , but I don’t think many of her pieces are not wise, classic buys.

Its not bad and a vast improvement on some of Sophie's more recent outfits.

She looks dreadful, nothing matches at all.

The Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst today, January 23 - it's a nice classic look, I only dislike the size and the colour of the collar and cuffs:

Its a really nice look and outfit and a good combination and also a vast improvement on some recent outfits.

What a pretty dress, but the overall look would be better if her hair was in a updo.

It certainly would. Similar to Queen Maxima, her choice of hairstyle ( usually when her hair is left loose) takes away from an otherwise polished appearance.
I think we may have seen this dress before. It is a very attractive gown that suits her figure.

Sophie wore this silver gown at the Royal Variety Show with her hair up; imo it looks better with her hair down this time. The belt makes it look a bit 'mumsy'.
