It's the Countess Mountbatten of Burmas 70th birthday today.

Only watched the first ten minutes or so thus far, but whomever they got to play Victoria Milford Haven was unexpected and exceptionally good, imho.

Son of Lady Amanda Ellingworth, nee Knatchbull gets married!

Joseph Ellingworth (b.1992) [second of three sons of Lady Amanda Knatchbull (b.1957) & her husband Charles Ellingworth (b.1957)] married Bridie Anne Riley (b.1991) sometime this year.

He is the first of his parents' sons who marries; his brothers Luke (b.1991) and Louis (b.1995) are single.

A son for Maddison Brudenell and Bret Kapetanov!

Maddison May Brudenell (born 16 May, 1994), partner of Bret Kapetanov (born circa 1994), gave birth to a son, Michael Adam, 6 August, 2024
Maddison, a descendant of Queen Victoria, announced her engagement to Bret in June, 2023. Mr Kapetanov, a millwright, hails from Windsor, Ontario. The couple plan to marry in October, 2024.
Maddison, daughter of the actor Jeremy Alexander Rothwell Brudenell (born 2 April, 1960) and his wife the former Edwina Victoria Louise Hicks (born 24 December, 1961), elder daughter of the late David Nightingale Hicks (1929-1998), by his wife the former Lady Pamela Carmen Louise Mountbatten (born 19 April, 1929), younger daughter of Admiral of the Fleet the late 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma (1900-79).
In 2015 Maddison married Olaoluwa Olamide Modupe-Ojo, a musician under the name "Jazz Purple". The marriage ended in divorce.
Maddison has issue from her first marriage, two daughters, Daphne (born 26 Nov, 2016), and Phoebe (born 15 Dec, 2018), and a son, Moses (born 18 Dec, 2020).

The baby is named in honour of Maddison's paternal grandfather, the late John Michael Brudenell (1925-2015), the royal obstetrician.

Has Lady Tatiana Dru, nee Mountbatten already given birth to her second child?

On 18 April six months will have passed since she announced her second pregnancy.

I did some research and there is no mention of the second birth. Even Lady Tatiana's Wikipedia page lists 1 child.

Lady Tatiana Dru (neé Mountbatten) has just announced the birth of her second child, a son, called Albie. Her first child, a daughter, is called Elodie.

Congratulations to her and Alick!

Lady Tatiana shared some photos of her son and his big sister:

The only Auberon I've ever heard of is Auberon Waugh, the novelist. According to Wikipedia, his name seems to have come from the Herbert family, the Earls of Carnarvon, who seem to have used it as a variation on Aubrey, which was a family name. I'm just trying to think whether there's any connection between them and the Mountbattens!

Did Lady Tatiana really take the surname of Dru, as many of the posts above say? The linked Instagram announcement uses the name Tatiana Mountbatten.

Interesting to use Albie as a nickname for Auberon.

A quite unusual birthday wish! There is an agency called "Living Things" where you can book "Wildlife Experiences".

Her granddaughter MaddisonMay, daugther of her daughter Edwina, posted pictures of her birthday visit with her 4 children and new Canadian husband.
