Swedish Jewels: Suggested Changes

The Baden fringe can also be worn as a necklace and they also have Queen Josefina's stomacher that's been turned into a necklace although I'm personally not that fond of the piece.
One jewel I would like to see altered is Princess Lilian's Laurel wreath tiara. I'm very curious to see it worn as a necklace again.
I had forgotten about the necklace made from Josefina's stomacher. IMO, it isn't the most attractive necklace, and I suspect that is why it is worn so rarely now. I think the last time it was worn was by Victoria at Madeleine's wedding. Or perhaps it was one more time since by Victoria for official photographs.

As for the laurel wreath would also love to see it as necklace and then if Victoria wanted to do it she could do so as she has inherited from Lilian. So it belongs to her and she does not need the permission from her mother.

Victoria does indeed own the Boucheron wreath tiara, but I suspect she is content to wear it as a light tiara for now.

Princess Lilian left a turquoise necklace, never worn since her death, unlike the Scarab Necklace, inherited by Queen Silvia

I think it ws worn only once by Princess Lilianm and not seen after that. Have also read that it possible was fake

Victoria has worn the necklace quiet a few times. And Lilian also used to wear it regulary. Silvia has worn it only a few times

I think that is a great idea.

And once the emeralds have been harvested as toppers for the Leuchtenberg tiara, the remaining diamonds from the necklace and earrings can be fashioned into a nice diamond necklace. It is sad that the Swedes do not really have a diamond necklace that is not a collet collier. The modern Fringe could be used as a necklace, but that is now with Madeleine. The Boucheron has been set up as a tiara. And the Connaught really works best as a tiara.
Yes those stones would be ideal to be used in making up an emerald tiara. The existing parure isn't very attractive IMO and it's never worn these days.

As we can see here Queen Silvia was the first to wear the stomacher as a necklace. We can also see that there was an initial and to me rather dreadful design of it as a necklace before the current.

Was playing a little pit with AI and changed the stones in the Leuchtenberg parure to emerald and pink topaz’s

Emerald
Emerald Parure
Pink Topaz
The Leuchtenberg tiara would look lovely if it could take in either emeralds or pink topaz. And would fill the two obvious gaps in the SRF jewel vault.

Unfortunately, Silvia is not one to make changes to historic jewellery, so the first hope will be under a Queen Victoria.

Judging from what we've seen so far I seriously doubt that a future Queen Victoria will be imaginative and play around with her jewellery.

Just even being able to put emeralds in the tiara would be perfect as they already have a beautiful emerald parure.

I concur. Queen Silvia has openly vented her strong opinions against changing historical jewellery, and The Crown Princess seems by what we know so far be in full agreement with her mother.

The only thing i expect to be changed upon Victoria’s accession is the added base of the Nine Prong Tiara as the tiara is inflexible to fit Victoria’s head. And maybe the length of some necklaces and bracelets to fit Victoria’s body.

The sapphires in the leuchtenberg tiara is also permanently there and can no longer be taken out according to Queen Silvia.

One very easy change they can make is add pearl pendants to the Connaught tiara. They can either use some of the historic pearl drops from existing family jewels or acquire cultured ones. This would fill another major gap in the Bernadotte collection - a pearl tiara.

I agree, pearl drops could work well with the Connaught tiara.
