Invited by the President of the Republic of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, the trip will take place from 10 to 12 December and will take Don Felipe and Doña Letizia to Rome and Naples, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia will host a reception for the Spanish community on December 10, on the 11th they will be received by President Matarella and on the 12th they will travel to Naples where King Felipe will be awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Federico II University in the area of research in Social Sciences and Statistics.
