From yesterday, king Harald greets Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, who won his third gold medal yesterday - his dream of winning all six gold medals is still alive.

Today Johannes Høsflot Klæbo and Erik Valnes won the team sprint and Klæbo got his fourth gold medal.
– Are you here again? asks King Harald as Johannes Høsflot Klæbo once again took the trip up to the royal stand as the gold medalist.
– I feel good up here, Klæbo answers.

Apparently the women's locker room was set aside for the Norwegian royal family and not open to the competitors, leading to some frustration.

"Finnish Jasmi Joensuu is furious in an interview with Yle after the sprint qualification. She claims the changing room where the women can change has been reserved for the Norwegian royal family.
"Women have nowhere to change. The king has taken the cloakroom," she tells the Finnish channel. "

"The Royal House later announced the following in a statement to Dagbladet:
"It is true that the Royal House used the locker room facilities at Granåsen today. We were assured that the use of the locker room facilities would not affect the athletes, so we are sorry if it turns out that this happened."

That's pretty bad. Where did the royal family think the female athletes would change instead?

No Danish royals unfortunately
are they expected to attend? Different from f.i. Norway and Sweden, i don't think Denmark has many athletes competing at these championships (if any?)

i hardly think that is on the royal family to think about, rather on the organisation?
I doubt the royals pointed to the room and said 'get everyone out, we absolutely need that room for ourselves'

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the women’s 4x7.5 km relay in Granåsen today, March 7:

I agree. That's up to the organisation but in their press release it states that they did ask/it was discussed. So, they apparently gave it some thought.

Victoria, Daniel, Estelle and Oscar attended the medal ceremony this evening. Sweden won gold at women's relay.

The royals follow men's 50 km. There is a lot of people along the course, great atmosphere.

At this video you can see the Swedes cheering for Poromaa (silver) and the Norwegians for Klaebo, who took his sixth gold at the championships as the first skier ever.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo met the royals at the royal box, this time with a real celebration:

I have followed Klæbo's career from 2017 World Championships in Lahti, I'm a big fan and it has been great to watch him skiing at these Championships. I have a huge respect for him, because in addition to skiing at the competitions, since he has won them all, he has been at the press and medal events two hours every day he has been competing.

More from today:

Rai-Rai indeed, (the song is like the ultimate Trondheim party anthem) apparantly 120.000 more or less sober people where there today in the stadium and in the forest around the track, the party mood and noise were rather extreme so the athletes could not hear their coaches.

Yes, it was great to watch and see all the people in the forest. At the finnish broadcast some of them were interviewed, there were also people from Finland.

Btw. It seems that Norway has now another king, king Johannes (with his six gold medals)...

Swedish silver medalist William Poromaa met Victoria, Daniel and the children after the medal ceremony.
– Fantastic, what an outstanding achievement! Absolutely fantastic. You were about to give us all a heart attack, Victoria said.
Daniel congratulated and noted that Poromaa managed to achieve top form. And he pointed out that Klæbo gained more speed after the last curve of the five-mile race.
– He is quite fast, Poromaa replied, and the royal family laughed.
When Poromaa greeted Estelle and Oscar, he gave them golden beanies that they quickly put on.
Poromaa appreciated the meeting with the royal family. He was also happy that the beanies fit well.
– Very nice. Incredibly nice and very kind. It was great that they were there to watch today and also cheer me on here. It means a lot.
Poromaa said also that Mette-Marit said some very nice words to him, she said that she was happy for Poromaa.

Today, watching the women's 50 km, it was the last event of the Championships:

Nice to see the Norwegian and Swedish royals together.

Any comment from the Norwegian royals about the Norwegian team's attempt to cheat at ski jumping? The national coach mainly seemed sorry that they were caught as they thought they could get away with it.
