A couple of things lost in translation here.

Crown Prince Theyazin’s new wife’s name is Sayyida Alia bint Mohammed bin Hilal Al Busaidi. Sayyida Maani bint Abdullah is his aunt who first announced that he was engaged.
Lady Al-Jalila, the mother-in-law of the Sultan of Oman, has passed away.
The Sultan’s mother-in-law’s name is Sayyida Khalisa bint Nasr bin Ya'rub Al Busaidi. The Al-Jalila is part of the title for the consort of the Sultan, Sayyida Ahmad bint Abdullah.

Thank you for the correction! I was basing my post on an Arab language Instagram account so something obviously got lost in translation.

Sayyida Ahmad bint Abdullah.
Sorry, my autocorrect keeps changing this. Her name should be spelled Ahad or Ahd but definitely not Ahmad.

The royal family shared some photos of the signing of the marriage contract in the Mirror Hall of Al Alam Palace on April 24.

Along with a video of the wedding celebrations at Al Baraka Palace on May 1.

We only see the men’s side in these but the women would have had celebrations too. I hope we see the Crown Prince’s new wife take on a public role like her mother-in-law.

Is that the younger son of the Sultan on his left? He is a very handsome young man

Are the Crown Prince and Sayyida Alia first cousins?

Are the Crown Prince and Sayyida Alia first cousins?
Not as far as I know. I suppose it's possible that her mother is a sister of Sayyida Ahad because they have not released her mother's name but I doubt it because that probably would have been mentioned somewhere. They are cousins of some sort because they are both members of the Al Bu Sa'idi family but I've yet to find a close relationship.

I believe (but I could be wrong) that her father was the son of Sayyid Hilal bin Hamad Al Busaidi, who was descended from Sayyid Said bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Iman of Oman 1783-1792, whilst the current sultan is descended from the Iman's brother, Sayyid Sultan bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Sultan of Muscat 1792-1804. So the bridal couple would seem to be distant paternal cousins.
