Where is Princess Marie?

She does not seem to have attended any events since the reburial of Queen Mother Helen in October.

:previous:

Yes indeed! I wonder me too but we don't have any information so far.

Margarita and Radu will celebrate Christmas at Savarsin with Sophie.

Marie is not mentioned...

On Sunday, 22 December Her Majesty Margareta ,Prince Radu, Princess Sofia and her daughter, Elizabeth (not pictured) received hundreds of carolers, from all ages and from all over the country.

Looked wonderful and festive. Thanks for keeping us informed.

What a fabulous venue and what a line-up. Nelly Mirociou! Also nice to see the "Crown Princess" (Princess Elena) going out and about. Sometimes her younger sisters Maria and Sofia are more visible.

Princess Marie has not been visible since she attended the October 2019 reburial of Queen Mother Helen.

The Custodian of the Crown decided that it would be best for Marie to step back from royal engagements. This is why Princess Sophie has been featured so prominently over the past months.

Marie now lives in the United Kingdom, which is where Helen also resides.

Really?? Pity!

I wonder why Her Majesty take this decision.

Where is your officlal statement ?

The Royal House has not made an official statement.

I was given the information by a source close to Casa Regala.

Marie does not seem to have been removed from the line of succession - she is last, of course, being the youngest of King Michael and Queen Anne's children.

If true I have this nagging feeling that yet another person with an increasing visibility and from what I've heard a growing popularity has been gotten rid off...

Congratulations Marlene.
If Prince Lorenz was not wit his wife at Nepal , he should attend also.
I saw the Belgian Marquis de Trazignies (Olivier) and Stephane Bern.

So many positive steps in those 30 years and mixed with some sadness too.

It may have something to do with the 30th Anniversary celebrations of Margareta's first visit to Romania - she was accompanied by Princess Sofia back then and it seems to make sense for Sofia to be more visible these days. Also, Princess Sofia is in the process of creating a new book of photography depicting life in Romania, so she is close by to attend functions and engagements.

That's my take on it anyway.

On Friday, 28 February , Princess Sofia participated, during the Alpin Film Festival, organized in Brasov, in the special screening of the documentary "White Carpathia", made by the British producer Charley Ottley.

According to Eurohistory blog Angelica Kreuger (daughter of Princess Irina & her first husband John Kreuger) & her husband Richard Knight divorced in November 2018 after 11 years of marriage:

Eurohistory: Belated News Of A Divorce In The Extended Romanian Royal Family

They have two daughters Courtney (b.2007) and Diana (b.2011)

And a rather sad conclusion: "As far as is known, Courtney Knight is the only great-grandchild of the King and Queen who was able to meet the Romanian royal couple; this took place during a private visit to Switzerland in 2009."

She was just two then, so she doesn't even remember them now...

The Household of Her Majesty the Custodian of the Crown offered school supplies to 50 children from the village of Săvârșin, to be able to continue their lessons at home, without interrupting the educational process during the state of emergency in Romania.

To those who could not attend the Romanian Athenaeum on the evening of 18 January 2020, at the 30th anniversary of the return of the Royal Family to the country, we offer you the full registration of the gala concert.

In these difficult days for all of us, we hope that the music of the young Romanian masters will delight your soul.

During her residence in the United States, Princess Maria was arrested back to 2009! (Something new for me)
