Queen Silvia is wearing her 1976 Nobel Prize gown by Christian Dior:

I had not expected her to wear this dress again. While it's a beautiful color, I dislike the dress as I find it dated.

She worn first in October that year, during the Swedish state banquet to the Netherlands

Queen Silvia underwent foot surgery in April and has been wearing trousers for most engagements since.

I swear I can recall my nan had a pair of bedroom curtains very similari to the Queen’s top. Sometimes the pretty floral prints just don’t work for clothing, no matter what your shape is.
