Thorgren is asked if it is now a case of illness.

Pretty weak answer. She was expected to remain at the Olympics with her husband. A sudden leave for a random personal visit doesn't make sense. If it was just about visiting her brother as often as possible, she could have waited until after the OG or visit him before attending (or any other time during the summer holiday).

I agree. That answer raised more questions than it answered…

Though Margareta Thorgren is infamous for giving blurry answers rather than clarifying things…

Sometimes a simple ”no comment” is better than a long answer if you are not allowed to say anything anyway…

If he is a private citizen surely he is entitled to privacy.
Why do we need to know everything, just let us accept she felt it necessary to visit her elderly brother.
There are times in life when you do not get a second opportunity.

Sure. The problem is MT -as usual- made it worse by her additional explanation. The initial explanation was clear enough without invading the queen’s brother’s privacy too much.
