I looove everything about that magenta dress! The pleats make it look like she's floating when she walks.

The return look is nice but is much suited for a daytime event. With a hat and a nice brooch. Like for the welcoming of a head of state for a state visit.

The soft pink colour of the Natan outfit was really wonderful on Mathilde.

I feel the magenta Armani gown looks a bit disconnected. The pleat is tad too casual and doesn't balance the heavy and intricate beadings on top. The pink Natan looks nice.

The Natan outfit is a great look for the Queen. It’s an elegant look and her height enables her to carry it off without being swamped by the voluminous material. The colour suits her complexion.

Yes, I hadn’t realised this was an evening function ( I really should read the title of the thread! ). This would be perfect for a daytime occasion. I somehow how assumed the event was a lunch.

She looks very elegant. I think it might have been better were the dress not ankle length, but it is a nice dress. I agree with your comment about her hair. She’s one of the few senior royals that chooses to keep a shorter style and it’s so refreshing. Plus it’s a style that works well with hats and tiaras.

Tis the season for Christmas wrapping paper It is quite shiny but the color is nice and the fit of the suit very flattering on Mathilde.
