The Queen being welcomed at the Presidential Palace by Rodrigo Chaves Roblès, President of Costa Rica, and Mrs. Signe Zeikate, First Lady of Costa Rica.

Queen Mathilde visits Farm La Minita, meeting its residents and the Casas de la Alegría, a comprehensive care center for girls and boys, which are set up on private coffee farms.

For her last engagement, Queen Mathilde visited the Universidad para la Paz (University for Peace). The campus now has a commemorative plaque of her visit. :)

The Queen played volleyball and football (Prince Emmanuel should be proud :D)

Thank you all for the photos and videos covering the Queen's trip to Costa Rica.

Queen Mathilde is the epitome ofCompassionate, grace, and elegance.

It never dawned on me that the Queen had such a good grasp of the Spanish language in terms of comprehension and pronunciation. However, when I thought about it makes sense as the family regularly visits Spain.
