The Queen visited Norashen National Park, where the United Nations Development Programme, the European Union, national and local authorities, and local communities are joining forces to preserve this exceptional natural site, which covers more than 140,000 hectares.

Armenia is a global biodiversity hotspot. However, its rich flora and fauna are now seriously threatened by human activities and climate change. Several initiatives are therefore underway to protect and restore the country's natural beauty.

She then officially launched a reforestation project, led by the "My Forest Armenia" association. Its objective is to transform a mid-mountain pasture into a thriving forest to combat the effects of climate change and enhance biodiversity.
