Queen Mary's Daytime Fashion Part 2: November 2024 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
A rate miss I think. I don’t like the tan belt and I preferred the culottes with the previously worn boots . I see this as more of an autumnal look.

Bermudashorts? In 17 degrees C. Queen Mary has become acclimatized. When she first arrived she would have been shivering.
Question for Australian members: Would you wear bermudeshorts and bare legs in 17 degrees C? Even if it's a indoor event.

The culottes, last seen in Paris, are back!

Queen Mary wore them for the Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition 2025 in Copenhagen this morning, June 4:

I would normally say this suited the event cause it was a fashion engagement and this is more fun but it doesn't work with the new belt and the shoes - this looked far better in Paris

I'm not a fan of culottes, not even for informal wear, so this look is/was a miss for me on that alone. It definitely was nicer in April with the boots.

Quite a chic outfit!
Very chic! And IMO perfect for this fashion related event. Queen Mary always knows what an event calls for clothing wise. Not every event requires/needs a dress coat and hat.

Not a chance! 🤣 17°C is about the average maximum for winter in Adelaide, and that's cold! Tasmania's average is around 13°C, but even then, I cannot imagine anyone there wearing those shorts in 17°C. So yes, after ~25 years, Mary has very much acclimatised to the Danish weather.

I like the top half of the suit and that's about it

Agree the belt ruins the jacket and the culottes so very wrinkly don’t work

Mary made a perfect choice for the final day of a visit to the Faroe Islands today, June 13:

Love it! Very chic! Perfect for the last day of events in the Faroe Islands!

it is a beautiful jacket and the skirt or culottes are also nice. However, it is too dark, a lighter color so she could be more visible would have been better

Love the outfit. At first I thought it looked rather off-season and was giving "fall vibes". Then I remembered that they're in the Faroe Islands.

Luckily her hair hides the puff sleeves. She looks good in this length, the only one besides POW who seems to. Carole Middleton wore the same dress in yellow to Ascot

Loving that dress and those gorgeous shoes!
It seems like so many royal ladies wear long sleeves this time of year.
I would not be comfortable.

I like the details on this dress like the peep hole neck line and the single flounce on the skirt section. A pretty pattern that isn’t overwhelming. Very lovely.

She looks fantastic! This must be a new dress, can't remember seeing it before.

It was a beautiful dress and perfect for summer!

Mary beautiful in pink at the opening of the exhibition 'King's Child' at the Koldinghus in Kolding this afternoon:

I am in the minority when I say I am not fussed on the dress - the colour isn't to my taste and the pattern with the ruffle on the hem and the neckline is all to much (To be fair equally didn't like the yellow version on Carole Middleton at Ascot as well)

And here's look number two - very colourful, a large print, but she can wear it:

Yes, it works and is a great compliment to her hosts. How it looks fine on her I don’t know as I post loads of comments about other royals not liking large prints and loud colours.
