Wow! What a treat on this winters day. The earrings and brooch shine and perfectly complement the delicate fabric of her dress. I have always imagined that fabric to have mohair in it. The jewelry and fabric are both reminiscent of snowflakes, imo.

I think it’s especially nice to see her debuting so many beautiful bracelets that haven’t seen the light of day since Queen Ingrids tenure as consort, as Queen Margrethe does not like bracelets…

Mary for the first time wore the Ivy Brooch, "According to the royal house, the brooch belonged to Crown Princess Caroline, Frederik VI's daughter (1793-1881), and was purchased from her estate in 1881 by Frederik VIII's Queen Lovisa."

That is a lovely brooch. Query if it is a bit much for an event like this?

What the Royals are wearing for the Holocaust Day is without interest. Thet just represent the many victimes of their Country.

What a lovely brooch. In the sea of her all black ensemble with the heavy coat, it is a nice touch. Not too much at all in my opinion. In fact, when you look at her ensemble from head to toe, it is a small blip in the totality of the outfit.
