Arrival Ceremony
Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik are being welcome by Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh upon their arrival to London on 16 February 2000, the first day of their 3-day official visit to the United Kingdom.

State Banquet
Queen Elizabeth II hosts a state banquet in St George's Hall for Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik, at Windsor Castle.

Day 2
Millennium Dome
Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik tour the Millennium Dome in Greenwich Thursday 17 February 2000. They will also visit the Millennium Bridge, a new footbridge across the River Thames built by a Danish company.

Honorary Freedom of the City of London
Queen Margrethe is given the Honorary Freedom of the City of London by the Mayor of London during a ceremony at Guildhall, followed by a luncheon and a review of the Honour Guard.

Honorary Degree
The Duke of Edinburgh and Chancellor of Edinburgh University presents the Queen of Denmark, Margrethe II with an Honorary Degree of Doctor Honoris causa in recognition of personal achievement and distinction in public life in Edinburgh, Friday February 18, 2000.
