They better have some legitimate reasons.
Are Joachim, Marie and Children banned ??
Better or legitimate to whom? There's no law saying that you have to spend your mum's birthday at her house you know.
mange tak! I will await with interest as Benedikte is for me an unknown member of the DRF!Summary of article in Billed Bladet #17, 2019.

Who were present when the DRF went out on the terrace at Marselisborg on her birthday recently.
The weather was cold but otherwise clear at noon on that day. The locals had gathered in the garden behind Marselisborg where the terrace is located. The Music Corps played and there, the DRF came out and waved the best they could. Moving around freely, as there is considerably more room to do that, than on the balconies at Amalienborg.
Not present were Joachim and our Marie and their children. They had started their Easter holiday abroad somewhere (presumably France, why should Marie always celebrate Easter in DK?) a few days earlier.
At some point Mary noticed someone in the crowd holding a bouquet of flowers they seemed eager to hand over. Mary then, according to our reporter, suggested to QMII that the children should pick up the bouquet. Mary quickly persuaded her four children to fetch the bouquet, even though Josephine initially appealed to mother to go with them.
With Bella in front and Josephine staying close to Christian the children completed the task, and somehow Christian ended up handing over the bouquet to QMII.
While waving their arms off there was time for some loving interaction between Mary and Vincent. Frederik and Mary. Mary and Bella and a small fight between Christian and Vincent.
Apparently Christian wanted to pad his kid brother on the cheek, but accidentally slapped him instead. Vincent was not pleased! But that was soon forgotten.
But see for yourselves here:

There is also a large, as in very large, interview with Benedikte, that I will summarize tomorrow.

However, it will still be possible to send the Queen a birthday greeting on the Royal House's digital platforms.
Later a little surprise concert was given.
