Queen Máxima's Eveningwear Part 8: December 2023 -

The colour is really lovely and the hairstyle but I'm not a fan of jump suits for formal occasions.

It was not all that formal, the men wore a suit and tie only.

As we saw with the GDss of Luxembourg, it seems Natan has a lot of psychedelic colours this season.

The dress code may have been relaxed but it was still a reception for Heads of State of Prime Ministers and not for winners of the Dutch X-Factor..

A new jumpsuit for Máxima at the dinner for the NATO Summit this evening, June 24:

Love it. Great colour. Great overall look.

And whilst I am not always a fan of jumpsuits, in this case, I thought the addition of the cape made this jumpsuit quite special.

I agree it was a meeting for heads of government, but that doesn't mean that the Queen cannot have a bit of her personality on display here.

Queen looks lovely in this colour . lovely the whole thing.

Nothing wrong with that what so ever, but I still don't like jumpsuits or most of Natans Couture..
As stated previously the colour and hairstyle were all lovely.

I think there is something wrong when you look at the group Photo of NATO Leaders and the first thing that catches your eye is a flashy outfit. Not everything is about Maxima.
I can only assume that a Queen is the best judge of what a Queen should wear for any particular occasion. And I rather imagine that many of the others who are in the photo will be pleased to be an ‘accessory’ to a Queen. “Look, Aunt Gretchen, here I am with Queen Maxima!”

And any lady or gentleman there was free to wear whatever they wished. Now, that would have been a sight!

I really loved this jumpsuit. The colour was a bit in your face in the sea of blue and black, and it’s a bit bold and unusual for my taste but I still liked it very much. The silouette is stunning and suits maxima very much.

She is the hostess and queen. QEII always wore bright colors in order to be seen. A bright ray of sunshine in a dreary and difficult occasion because of the elderly narcissist/sociopath present

When I first saw this in a photo, I was struck how she stood out in the sea of blue and black. Later clips show it wasn’t quite the psychedelic shade it first appeared, but still vivid and very Maxima. From a purely fashion point of view, I love the look on her. I think as consort to the head of state /joint host it’s fine to stand out.

QEII was the monarch, Maxima is the consort, a fact she seems to ignore at times when it comes to her appearance.

Maxima looks great (..)

I’m so into the Dutch and Belgian princesses’ beautiful gowns at the gala that I almost forgot Maxima also looks wonderful! Her hairstyle is great too.

The dress is a no for me. I don't care for the cut out pattern. A more classic dress was warranted. She's got tons of other gorgeous gowns she could've chosen from!
For ex.

Hair makeup and jewels are fantastic.

Máxima at the winners' dinner for the King Willem I Award in Breda - a great colour and nice dress:

I like the color. Not sure about the style. It somehow reminds me of a very bright bathrobe. Not sure why, but that was the first thought that popped into my head.

Normally- I give her a pass on her hair. Her hair looks thin/fine, and I know that can be difficult. But- what happened in the “upper” picture?!

That's a little snarky. I think she looks great.
I stand by my comment.

Maxima's hair is often not styled for public engagements and certainly unbecoming of the role she occupies in Dutch society. And yes, to me, on this occasion, too, the hair stands out in its unkept state.

Apart from the hairstyle, I think this was an attractive look. The colour is lovely and the style reflects her vivacious personality. I also liked the gown for the gala.
