The colour is really lovely and the hairstyle but I'm not a fan of jump suits for formal occasions.

The dress code may have been relaxed but it was still a reception for Heads of State of Prime Ministers and not for winners of the Dutch X-Factor..It was not all that formal, the men wore a suit and tie only.
As we saw with the GDss of Luxembourg, it seems Natan has a lot of psychedelic colours this season.
Love it. Great colour. Great overall look.A new jumpsuit for Máxima at the dinner for the NATO Summit this evening, June 24:

I agree it was a meeting for heads of government, but that doesn't mean that the Queen cannot have a bit of her personality on display here. The dress code may have been relaxed but it was still a reception for Heads of State of Prime Ministers and not for winners of the Dutch X-Factor..
Nothing wrong with that what so ever, but I still don't like jumpsuits or most of Natans Couture..I agree it was a meeting for heads of government, but that doesn't mean that the Queen cannot have a bit of her personality on display here.
I can only assume that a Queen is the best judge of what a Queen should wear for any particular occasion. And I rather imagine that many of the others who are in the photo will be pleased to be an ‘accessory’ to a Queen. “Look, Aunt Gretchen, here I am with Queen Maxima!”I think there is something wrong when you look at the group Photo of NATO Leaders and the first thing that catches your eye is a flashy outfit. Not everything is about Maxima.

I’m not able to determine suitability, but I suppose the Queen is.The colour was lovely, but the style was not suitable at all.
QEII was the monarch, Maxima is the consort, a fact she seems to ignore at times when it comes to her appearance. She is the hostess and queen. QEII always wore bright colors in order to be seen. A bright ray of sunshine in a dreary and difficult occasion because of the elderly narcissist/sociopath present
Oh I think that’s harsh! IMO she compliments her husband wonderfully . She hasn’t exactly stepped out of line by wearing a bright coloured jumpsuit.QEII was the monarch, Maxima is the consort, a fact she seems to ignore at times when it comes to her appearance.
Great dress and matched perfectly to the tiaraMáxima in a new dress at the gala dinner in Luxembourg this evening, October 3:

I disagree with your distinction as it relates to style choice.QEII was the monarch, Maxima is the consort, a fact she seems to ignore at times when it comes to her appearance.
That's a little snarky. I think she looks great. The trim on the cuff and the hairstyle certainly match!
I stand by my comment. That's a little snarky. I think she looks great.
