Too much of everything, it looks very bad. Máxima seldom goes for elegant and understated but this is way too much, even for her.

That top is hideous! With her stringy hair on top of it she looks like she's been 'slimed' (Ghostbusters reference). Trying to look modern and instead looks a mess. Par for the course with Maxima.

I don't think that she uses a stylist for the less formal events and the result is normally a huge mess.
The Dutch RF can well afford a proper full time stylist,there is simply no excuse for turning up to events with the Boris Johnson hairstyle.

Not keen on the gold design but its a vast improvement on the sloppy poorly styled appearances from earlier this week.

The fit has changed over the years, it now seems too large and the upper part sags a bit. Not the best Taminiau dress IMO but the pointy design goes well with the pointy Mellerio tiara.

It is good to see Maxima reuse her gowns. This gown has now had three outings: in Tokyo for the enthronement, in Oslo for Ingrid's birthday gala and this evening. But I was never a fan of this gown, and I would not loose sleep if we never saw it again!

Not a fan of the dress. Never have been. The "print" has always been more suited for an African visit or event than a Portugese or Japanese one.

I like the top section of this outfit, but not so much the cut and length of the trouser leg. Her hair style looks sleek, I like it partly tied back in this way.
