Queen Máxima's Daytime Fashion Part 21: December 2023 - December 2024

She looks very sleek, but it needed something in a contrasting colour to better suit her colouring and complexion.

I like the color but I have issues with the bow on the shoulder. When she's at the balcony facing front the heavy oversized bow looks good and blends in nicely. But the previous picture with the side profile, it looks like she didn't notice her dress got caught on a giant palace door curtain and she's dragging it like a toll truck.



Was this a costume party and Maxima came as combination of Faye Dunaway in the movie Bonnie and Clyde and Mia Farrow in The Great Gatsby?

I mean, she looks great still but in an excessive, out of this era way. But she does look good, and we know Maxima, as her name goes, never goes for the subtle. I can actually picture her getting in a Model T car after the party to time travel to a Hollywood set in the 30s

I love this dress! She’s tall enough, and young enough, and cool enough to carry it off. Perhaps this is one of those FQO (For Queens Only) dresses we’ve occasionally discussed.

It does work for her, but she’s so ridiculously contrasted to everyone and everything around her. Not sure if that’s the message she wanted to send or not.

The dress might work better outdoors, or for a solo event.

It was a bit of a mix and match of different light colors but somewhat worked - and just removing the coat (queen) or adding a tie (king) makes things quick and easy.

Máxima in Natan attended opening of the "Cooperative Impact Event, Our Day" of Rabobank in Nieuwegein today, November 30 - it's the nicer one of her two green leather skirts
