Queen Letizia's Daytime Fashion Part 21: June 2024 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Its not great and I don't know if its the black belt or the boots but it doesn't really work.

not her best look - the colour isn't that nice, washes her out and the boots IMO are not suitable for a Queen (when you see the side split on the skirt and they are above the knee)

I agree on all points. Not the best look!

Not the worst I've seen, but the color doesn't do anything for her complexion and the boots are throwing me off. A nice pair of ballet flats would have been better.

I agree, it’s not a look that works for her. In addition to the points made about the boots and the colour of her dress, I think the dress is too long for her. It’s tricky when you are so petite and also limited to wearing flatties.

That's a really nice look for today and a very professional appearance.

I really like the pale blue colour of the blouse - not sure it works it with the suit at todays event

Queen Letizia during audiences today, March 18, I think it's a bit tight :

And I totally dislike the boots combined with that dress:

I don't uderstand why the queen is wearing boots inside a building... Spain has rather mild winter and I suppose that there's the heating in the palace so no boots neeeded... :devilish:

Queen Camilla frequently wears boots at indoor receptions. Not good for those precious carpets in the royal palaces.

Its a lot colder in the UK than Spain ,perhaps the boots are more for comfort for queen Letizia?

The pale blue is pretty but it seems to wash her out. Letizia's hair is curled and not "stringy" but the long style isn't flattering.

Letizia's hairstyles can be hit and miss ,I always prefer her hair in an upstyle for the more formal events.

This week several areas of Spain have been affected by heavy rains, unusual for those regions. Madrid has been affected by these rains, and today there is still a risk of rivers bursting their banks. The Zarzuela Palace is in a mountainous area and the queen doesn't live in the palace, but just a few miles away. It's only natural that she would opt for boots given the view outside.

It’s a lovely combination with the red top picking out the detail in the skirt. I think she looks very good in pleated skirts.
I'm not crazy about that long sleeved red top paired with the dress ,it looks too casual.
The dress is really lovely.

It would be better suited with a pair of jeans.
We will probably see it repeated like that on the next appearance or with leather trousers.

There are a few clothing pieces she really reserves for the big appearances/state visits etc but most of the time her wardrobe is a mix of casual even for events we want to see statement pieces

I love the skirt! The top is too casual for the skirt, but overall a great look.

It looks like she has had the sleeves altered from the original.
