Its not great and I don't know if its the black belt or the boots but it doesn't really work.
I agree on all points. Not the best look!not her best look - the colour isn't that nice, washes her out and the boots IMO are not suitable for a Queen (when you see the side split on the skirt and they are above the knee)
I don't uderstand why the queen is wearing boots inside a building... Spain has rather mild winter and I suppose that there's the heating in the palace so no boots neeeded...
Queen Camilla frequently wears boots at indoor receptions. Not good for those precious carpets in the royal palaces.I don't uderstand why the queen is wearing boots inside a building... Spain has rather mild winter and I suppose that there's the heating in the palace so no boots neeeded...![]()
Its a lot colder in the UK than Spain ,perhaps the boots are more for comfort for queen Letizia?Queen Camilla frequently wears boots at indoor receptions. Not good for those precious carpets in the royal palaces.
The pale blue is pretty but it seems to wash her out. Letizia's hair is curled and not "stringy" but the long style isn't flattering.I really like the pale blue colour of the blouse - not sure it works it with the suit at todays event
Queen Camilla will also be 78 this year.Queen Camilla frequently wears boots at indoor receptions. Not good for those precious carpets in the royal palaces.
Letizia's hairstyles can be hit and miss ,I always prefer her hair in an upstyle for the more formal events. The pale blue is pretty but it seems to wash her out. Letizia's hair is curled and not "stringy" but the long style isn't flattering.
This week several areas of Spain have been affected by heavy rains, unusual for those regions. Madrid has been affected by these rains, and today there is still a risk of rivers bursting their banks. The Zarzuela Palace is in a mountainous area and the queen doesn't live in the palace, but just a few miles away. It's only natural that she would opt for boots given the view outside.I don't uderstand why the queen is wearing boots inside a building... I'm not crazy about that long sleeved red top paired with the dress ,it looks too casual. It’s a lovely combination with the red top picking out the detail in the skirt. I think she looks very good in pleated skirts.
Great look.A nice look for Queen Letizia in Granada today, April 1 - the skirt is wonderful:

Agree the top with this skirt has a casual element - classic Letizia to be fair!I'm not crazy about that long sleeved red top paired with the dress ,it looks too casual.
The dress is really lovely.
It would be better suited with a pair of jeans.Agree the top with this skirt has a casual element - classic Letizia to be fair!
We will probably see it repeated like that on the next appearance or with leather trousers. It would be better suited with a pair of jeans.
