Not crazy about the black boots paired with a white coat , a different coloured pair of boots would have looked nicer.

I would have liked to see a brooch or scarf. The coat is a pleasant change from her usual colours, but I agree a different colour boot would have been more interesting.

I do like the coat. The Queen was doing so well, wearing brooches for pretty much every public appearance, wish she had worn one yesterday as well.

Works well for events of the type. Would have loved to see the addition of some emerald and diamoind earrings or a bracelet.

Whilst it is difficult to ascertain the colour of the coat from the pictures, I think it is a navy coat. The Queen is also wearing her Faberge sapphire and diamond earrings, which leads me to think the coat will be of a matching colour.

I think it may just be the way the boots fold or ruffle that it looks like trousers.
