Yes that's a refreshing outfit. I like her bag.

She does indeed. It is lovely to see her looking so healthy and rested. It makes her look really lovely with her hair and makeup looking really flattering and a knockout purple velvet dress. How utterly stunning.Queen Camilla at the Olympic and Paralympic Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening, November 2:

My only reservation is the black tights. I think she would have looked better with nude or opaque tights as is unfortunately illustrated by Princess Anne.

OMG, no. I prefer when she is in a more elegant one piece or in separates attires, but here is a no. Somehow it reminds me schoolteacher. And the white shirt brings back the memory of the hilarious low-talker/Puffy shirt episode in Seinfeld.
I like you now, Queen Camilla, but it's a no to this ensemble
What Toledo said!
I have to admit that I agree and that now she is Queen Camilla she should"take it up a notch" and give the 'viewing public' a fair shot at seeing her easily. It's not like she doesn't like hats, quite the contrary, she kills it almost every time she wears one. Millinery "finishes" an ensemble, it lends it that aura of elegance just like gloves do, and while Camilla's fashion is so darned good that she has become an icon for women of a certain age, proving again and again that you don't have to wear dowdy clothes and, with an example as stunning as the late Queen, it proves it is both elegant and functional. She looks god but a Pity that she choose not to wear a Hat for such an Event.

Camilla's style has more or less stayed the same as when she was Duchess of Cornwall.
Not too keen on this outfit but the hat is nice.
