Yes that's a refreshing outfit. I like her bag.

I think Camilla is wearing the black lace dress she wore to the Accession Council and then again to the reception for the visiting heads of state on the eve of QE2's funeral.

Camilla’s complexion…

…always looks particularly fresh and lovely when she’s been on one of her retreats.

:previous: She does indeed. It is lovely to see her looking so healthy and rested. It makes her look really lovely with her hair and makeup looking really flattering and a knockout purple velvet dress. How utterly stunning.

My only reservation is the black tights. I think she would have looked better with nude or opaque tights as is unfortunately illustrated by Princess Anne. Camilla has lovely ankles and heavy black stockings or tights make the wearer look thick-legged unless they are those fortunate long-legged people.

A really nice purple outfit on the queen consort.

For the "Africa Fashion" exhibition at The V&A in London later today she added her black cape jacket:

Great look for the Queen. She has had this outfit for a few years, and it works very well for her, IMO.

I agree, skin coloured tights would have worked very well with this outfit.

I can't claim to be a big fan of this pinafore dress, but it is clear that the Queen likes it a lot and has been using it regularly for a few years now.

OMG, no. I prefer when she is in a more elegant one piece or in separates attires, but here is a no. Somehow it reminds me schoolteacher. And the white shirt brings back the memory of the hilarious low-talker/Puffy shirt episode in Seinfeld.

I like you now, Queen Camilla, but it's a no to this ensemble

She looks god but a Pity that she choose not to wear a Hat for such an Event.

:previous: I have to admit that I agree and that now she is Queen Camilla she should"take it up a notch" and give the 'viewing public' a fair shot at seeing her easily. It's not like she doesn't like hats, quite the contrary, she kills it almost every time she wears one. Millinery "finishes" an ensemble, it lends it that aura of elegance just like gloves do, and while Camilla's fashion is so darned good that she has become an icon for women of a certain age, proving again and again that you don't have to wear dowdy clothes and, with an example as stunning as the late Queen, it proves it is both elegant and functional.

She looks nice on her dark green two-piece dress with knee high black boots that match the lapel and the gloves. It actually looks very warm and comfortable too

I agree, a good hat would have finished off the outfit beautifully. For events like this which are outside a routine engagement, it would be good to see Camilla wear hats a little more.

Camilla's style has more or less stayed the same as when she was Duchess of Cornwall.
The outfit is nice and colours all work well.

I am not expecting Camilla to change her style, it generally works well most of the time. I am only asking when a somewhat special engagement like the trip to York and unveiling of HM's statue at York Minster takes place, she add a haty to her ensemble.

Not too keen on this outfit but the hat is nice.
