Queen Camilla Jewels 2: February 2024 -

It really stands out ,perhaps an Anniversary gift?
Might be the central piece of a larger piece of jewellery, i.e. a larger brooch or stomacher.

I read on twitter that the brooch worn on the last day of the visit was of Italian origins

Her great-grandmother spent her last years in Italy, perhaps it was one of her acquisitions.

the last section contains info on the designer of the mystery Italian brooch worn on the last day of the visit. It is by Lucia Odeschalchi.

Thank you for posting this. As always with ‘The Daily Fail’, you grimace at their trailing what will awaken the usual royal haters i.e. costing each item in headlines. What they also fail to make clear is that some of these pieces are part of the royal collection and not Camilla’s personal jewels.

Quiet amused when talking of Queen Camilla and QE2's love of the Prince Albert brooch, the Daily Mail has a picture of QE2 in the Russian sapphire brooch!

I noticed that as well - pointless article really has a number of these items Camilla does not own and therefore this jewellery wealth is not hers.

Very pretty. I am not familiar with beryl. Could it be star sapphire?

I can’t pretend to know which variety the Queen wears in her brooch, but I guess it’s the rarer kind mentioned towards the end of this article.

I was trying to id those earrings yesterday but couldn't get a proper view with Camilla's hair and hat.
They worked lovely with the blue themed outfit.

Speculation they came from a set gifted to her by Middle Eastern royals (she has sets in emeralds, rubies and sapphires) - even maybe she broke up the sapphire necklace and created these.

Another speculation was that they were Diana's Saudi sapphires that were a gift and therefore property of the crown - granted I can see the similarities to Diana's sapphires (I believe it is the set she wore from the mid 1980s onwards, I recall them worn in Germany) BUT I don't believe they are these as Camilla doesn't have her ears pierced.

For the garden party at BP today, the Queen is wearing the Queen Mary turquoise and diamond brooch. She is also wearing the turquoise and diamond earrings she wore to Ascot last year

The earrings look big - wish we could get clear pictures but Camilla's hair is our biggest issue as a jewellery watcher

The earrings are quite big, but we never to got to see them properly even when she wore them to Ascot last year.

Some slightly better pictures

This blog has some nice pictures - they appear to be a have a double halo of diamonds round the central turquoise stone
