Queen Camilla Jewels 2: February 2024 - Sep 2025

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
She has worn it on a number of occasions in the last 2/3 years including Christmas 2022. I think it probably comes from the vaults but we don’t know much about the history
I actually hadn't noticed it before and will be interesting to find out its origins!

I often wonder about her first tiara appearance in the Delhi durbar tiara and how she has never worn it again. Was it only worn to allow the honeycomb tiara to be fitted to her head and refurbished/cleaned? Was nothing ready for her to wear?
To never see it again seems odd, but obviously glad it was brought out of vaults in the first instance but Camilla any chance for another outing?!

I've always assumed that the DD was rather uncomfortable to wear and that Camilla, pragmatical as she is, said "never again !".

Perhaps she just preferred the Boucheron Honeycomb. In a lot of ways, she has modelled her public role on the template set out by QEQM, and may have chosen the tiara given the obvious link to QEQM.

VJ Day jewels - sticking to some of her favourites for Military events

I believe there are a seldom worn pair from Elizabeth II's collection. I've read ages ago that they were made to match the Burmese ruby tiara.
If they are the same, I find it interesting that they have clip fittings (to suit Camilla), rather than the usual pin backs.

I am not sure they are the same pair of earrings. The earrings worn by QE2 have centres with Burmese rubies, with a cluster of diamonds all around. The pair worn by Queen Camilla appear to have a solitaire diamond at the centre, rubies around it, and then more diamonds on the outer cluster.

They might or might not be the same. The photo of Elizabeth II's earrings is not very clear, but at least I see a lot of similarities, including a lighter spot at the center, which would be the solitaire.
It's just a theory anyway :)

Interesting new earrings in Scotland for Camilla
It has been suggested on social media that the earrings are from Bentley & Skinner.

It is time to close this thread. You can find the new one here:
