So lovely to see a post in this thread!
She took her time, built her skills and her confidence. She was very noticeably nervous in the early days, her first speech was not the best but learnt on the job. Slow and steady wins the race. When you watch how she developed over the years it really gives an understanding of the phrase ' growing into the role'It is fantastic news. I see photos from this engagement and I don’t know if the photographer is just extremely talented or this is really how she is and her impact on the people but those are moving photos. Her empathy shines through, and those people she visited look truly happy to interact with her. There is something very old school and fairy tale-like about Catherine. (And this coming from someone who couldn’t care less about her until years later when she’s noticeably proven herself to be a very steady, unbothered, quietly strong individual, not to mention downright glamorous)
See my post from yesterday, there's a video of that second visit includedThere was a second engagement in Wales yesterday as Catherine visited Corgi Socks which has been a family run wool good factory since the 19th century.
