Princess Madeleine looked wonderful and especially the glittering green outfit and the hairstyle looked really lovely too for both events.

Princess Madeleine looks really stylish and a perfect winters day outfit!

Wow! I love this dress. Stunning shade of green. Beautiful style and fit.

Love the tiara and earrings.

The gown is designed by Fadi el Khoury. The train is too much, the gown would have been much better without it.

I like the train actually, without it it would be a thirteen-in-a-dozen dress. The colour and fabric are wonderful, as it the cut on the back.

I think this is my favorite Nobel gown that Madelaine has ever worn. The color, the textures, the train, all wonderful. The train might have been over the top but the emerald green color makes it look elegant. And the jewelry is fabulous as well. It's so nice to have her back, she brings so much glamour to events.

Yes. It might not have worked for the Nobels, but she could have worn a different OTT dress and this sans train to something else.

To be petty, the train brings cheap associations like leaves (which don’t work with a glam gown) or even trash bags to mind.

“I want to like it and I can’t.”

Madeleine at the dinner for the Nobel laureates this evening, December 11 - a rare miss in my eyes, I dislike the colour, the upper part and the ruff collar:

I agree Iceflower. The colour does nothing for her and the bodice section looks like a style of negligée.

I haven't never liked this dress. She has worn this dress before, at the King's dinner for the Nobel laureates in 2015. It looked much better then with her own tiara and beautiful hairdo:
