On December 27th, Princess Hisako attended the Princess Takamado Trophy JFA 30th All Japan U-15 Women’s Football Championship Final and Prince Takamado Trophy JFA All Japan U-15 Football Championship Final at Ajinomoto Field Nishigaoka in Kita, Tokyo.

Women: INAC Kobe Tesoro vs. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Urawa Reds Ladies Junior Youth. Urawa Reds won 2-1.
Men: Yokohama F. Marinos Junior Youth vs. Nagoya Grampus U-15. Nagoya Grampus won 3-1.

Princess Hisako attended a symposium commemorating the founding of Ritsumeikan University held in Tokyo in August 2025.

On December 21st, Princess Hisako attended the boys and girls finals of the 39th National Youth Soccer Tournament at IAI Stadium Nihondaira in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

On December 30th, Princess Hisako attended the TONO Cup 30th Anniversary Tournament at Fron Town Saginuma in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. The late Prince Takamado founded TONO Cup with the goal of allowing people of all ages to enjoy futsal, a 5-player football variant.

On the same day, Princess Hisako attended the the finals and awards ceremony of the 79th All Japan Badminton Championships at Keio Arena Tokyo.

Possible event on January 5th for Princess Tsuguko:

She may attend the 11th All Japan Brass Symphony Competition Finals at Bunkyō Civic Center in Bunkyo, Tokyo as the website states that an Imperial Family member will be present and Tsuguko attended the finals both in 2024 and 2025.

People won't be allowed to take photos or videos during the event as the official accounts of the All Japan Brass Symphony Competition will release contents itself later.

On February 4th, Princess Hisako attended the opening ceremony of the "World Orchid Exhibition 2026 - A Festival of Flowers and Greenery" at Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall in Bunkyo, Tokyo.

Hisako with pastry chef Hironobu Tsujiguchi. She sampled "Vanilla & Strawberry Mille-feuille Parfait" and was presented with "Vanilla & Noto Yuzu Petit Madeleines."


She also attended the opening ceremony of the "2025 / 28th Japan Through Diplomats' Eyes" photo exhibition at Akarenga Gallery (Red Brick Warehouse Gallery A) in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. The theme is "Rhythm of Life in Japan." Princess Hisako gave the keynote address and a gallery talk about her bird photography.

Princess Hisako, Honorary President of BirdLife International, and Dr. Stuart Butchart, Chief Scientist at BirdLife International, will attend a press conference entitled "Birds as Messengers for Climate Change" at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan on March 17 at 13:00 - 14:00.

On February 25th, Princess Hisako met Ambassador Erkinbek Osoev of the Kyrgyz Republic and his wife Soltobaeva Djamilya at the Takamado residence. "During the meeting, various issues of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan were discussed, including in the areas of culture, sports, and science."

Possible future events for Takamado Princesses ?

The 4th Global Youth Forum for a Culture of Lawfulness will be held March 5th-7th, 2026, but differently from the past years, it's venue will be at Chuo University, Tokyo.

Princess Tsuguko could attend as she already attended the 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd Global Youth Forums.
