Absolutely true Prisma!

I was thinking the same when I saw the photos right 5 minutes ago!

Before I saw the photos, I thought "mmmh, maybe some royals from the Imperial Family attended the wedding of Prince Peter and Princess Yurina", and, oh my god, these expectations came true!

Tsuguko was stunning as always and it's always a beautiful surprise to see Ayako at events. Hoping for more photos too.

Maybe Princess Tsuguko has connections with the Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn noble family or with the bride herself (who is, by the way, half-Japanese).

Also, usually Ayako wears kimonos for important occasions, so - I'm judging by considering her dress and from the little I can see from the picture - could she be pregnant? Another baby would be a very pleasant news! I'm not stating it as a certain thing, but her appearance gave me these feelings.

Now that I think about it, maybe Prince Peter - as he is a business man, could have invited Kei (maybe as a business partner, being that Kei is also at a company) to attend the wedding, thus the invitation was extended to his wife, Ayako, and maybe to Tsuguko herself through her membership in the Imperial Family, or maybe just because she was a prestigious guest and, as a coincidence, an in-law of Kei.

On December 12th, Princess Hisako attended the opening ceremony of "Grand Doggy Parade" at Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Museum. The exhibition commemorates the donation of her dog figurine collection.

Photos: AP Images, Facebook 大村ひであき

... Princess Hisako donated over 200 dog figurines to Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Museum. The collection began in 1928 when her grandmother, Tomoda Moriko, traveled to France with her husband, a diplomat, and collected items in Europe until 1939, when she returned to Japan due to war. Collecting resumed after the war and Princess Hisako inherited (was gifted?) the collection upon her marriage to Prince Takamado in 1984. She continued to collect dog figurines from around the world until recently.

The collection not only includes many figurines made by world-famous ceramic manufacturers, but also masterpieces made by small, little-known pottery factories with short operating periods, making it an interesting resource for ceramic history research.

The collection will be exhibited from December 13, 2025 to July 26, 2026.

On December 21st, Princess Tsuguko will attend the Takamadonomiya Trophy JFA U-18 Football Premier League 2025 Final at Saitama Stadium 2002, in Midori-ku, Saitama Prefecture.

Source: umenohanatiru.hatenablog.com (official copied schedule)

So happy to see Princess Tsuguko again! I'll do an end-of-year balance later in the month, but I have to say that this year Princess Tsuguko has been more active and present than the past years, we have had - up to now - the possibility to see her every month for at least one official activity, and also for UNICEF events, but unfortunately the latter are not considered official activities.

Can't wait to see her in 2026, as there are the All Japan Brass Symphony Competition in early January (and she attends regularly since 2024), the 4th Global Youth Forum for a Culture of Lawfulness, and maybe also the International Orchid and Flower Show 2026, among others.
