She succeeded well . The Belgian Politic Situation did not allow a lot a belgian Ministers to attend for a week.

Princess Astrid is quite successful on her economic missions isn't she? I read somewhere that the Mexicans have been both surprised and delighted by the size of the mission.
I've enjoyed following the Mexican trip and it seems that Astrid herself has enjoyed herself too.

Yes about a decade or so ago Princess Maria Laura of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este studied in both London and China,nice to see her accompanying her mother.
 
Nice to see that Maria Laura is with Astrid on this trip to China. There's no mistaking that she's her daughter; they're carbon copies of each other!

You are right twice , Dear JR76 , when A Member of the Royal Family is leading an Economic Mission, doors are open which should not have be possible without them.

An update on the Belgian Economic Missions in 2022 and 2023 has been released on January 14, see here.

The economic mission to the United Kingdom will take place from May 9-12, 2022.

The economic mission to the United States will take place from June 4-12, 2022 in Atlanta, New York and Boston.

The economic mission to Japan will take place from December 5-9, 2022.

The economic mission to the Republic of Senegal will take place in the first semester of 2023 in Dakar.

The economic mission to Australia will take place in October 2023.
 
HRH Princess Astrid also paid a visit to Televic, a producer of high-tech communications systems. This was likewise part of the preparations for the economic missions to the United Kingdom and the United States in the first half of 2022.
