The coat looks a bit like a night robe in some of the pictures and modekoninginmaxima pointed out that it was previously worn by Amalia. The dress with red high boots is a bit bolder than her sisters choices in typical Alexia style.

Its more of an autumnal look and colour scheme as opposed to the summer theme.

Agreed. The color scheme, jacket, and suede boots scream fall. It looks especially weird compared to her sister Ariane who is in a light weight sleeveless white dress.

You are right about the fall look. But it was pretty cold for June, 14 °C/57,2 °F by the time of the photo session, so it's at least easy to understand that she preferred a jacket and boots..

Ha, I have some things of Sézane. Nice to see she is shopping at an affordable / relatively cheap brand. She looks nice, though the colours are more fall-like it is indeed understandable with the Dutch weather.

Yeah. They looked like they were dressed for different events. I really like her outfit- it just looks odd in the summer photo shoot.

Ariane and Maxima couldn’t have looked more casual summery. Amalia kind of straddled the line in terms of seasons- and hers was a more professional/work type look.

And Alexia was completely fall. But not a business professional fall. Just a nice outfit.

They were all over the place.

It’s pretty much like this every single year, though. Everybody just wears what they want; it’s not coordinated.

(If the temperatures had really dipped so low I’m sure Ariane was cold and probably wishing for a jacket.)

A lovely colour on the Princess but would have preferred an upstyle given the event.
The Apple Watch could have been left at home for the event.

Red is her colour! I'm not always opposed to hair down as long as it's well arranged and styled, I think Alexia is doing a nice example here. Won't be surprised if we see more and more smartwatches in such events...

As an Apple Watch wearer, the pictures made me smile. She and Amalia often wear their Apple Watches at events.

They've been popping up at formal events a lot lately. Princess Alexia of Greece wore hers to Prince Michael's funeral a few weeks ago, and her cousin Prince Gustav wore his to his own wedding. Queen Rania wears one all the time (although I haven't seen her wear it with very formal clothes), and Queen Camilla wears hers to events sometimes.

It's a very nice dress but I am not 100% sold on the color on her ginger self. Seems to wash her out a bit and make the dress appear to be wearing her.

Smart watches are here to stay, so I guess they will keep popping up at formal events. I am quite relaxed about it.

I am really pleased to see her delve into her mother's wardrobe and get a dress from there.

These are early days, and in a few years she will get a much better handle on how to dress for events like this, and how to conduct herself.

I also don't mind the smartwatches. One (me) can get compulsive about the data you get from them. lol

She looks good, hair could be sleeker though. Also I'm not a fan of beauty pageant lashes, on her and on most people. They're very distracting and unnatural.
