Princely Family of Monaco: Current Events Part 11: November 2024 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Where has the time gone? I can't believe it has been 20 years.

Love how they’re there to support him. Something I appreciate about Albert is how he incorporates family members with roles from his nieces & nephews to Melanie to the Kellys. He’s so in touch & open with everyone, it’s lovely to see.

Wasn't Pierre Casiraghi there?

Pierre is currently taking part in the Admiral's Cup (July 17 - August 1), close to Cowes, Isle of Wight, UK.

Here are some more additional photos from yesterday:

Both Stefano and Francesco seem to have inherited their mother’s long neck and shoulderline.

It is always lovely to see these large family gatherings

I think I also spotted John Kelly, son of Grace’s brother.

He does seem to be very connected with his extended family. I like that about him.

Wow...time certainly went by. It was moving to see Albert choke up during his speech. It was nice to see the whole family and extended family behind him on stage. He is clearly appreciative of their love and support.

I know matter has been widely discussed..but I'm every time shocked and shocked again... to see how unable is Charlene after 14 years of marriage and close to 20 years in Monaco... to speak French, as her speech was English....
And this in comparison to the other royal foreign brides... Mary, Maxima and Marie who mastered extremely quickly Danish and Dutch....
Not discussing about Queen Anne-Marie who mastered Greek before marrying King Konstantine...and never forget the language with only 3.5 years in Greece

I see your point and agree it is hard to understand why she doesn’t speak the language after so many years. However, from what we gather, she hasn’t found it easy to adapt to her role and has had bouts of quite severe illness. I think it’s highly likely that she has quite good mastery of French but it’s a big step to speak in another language in public, particularly when the engagement is being broadcast. There’s been a noticeable shift in her presence in Monaco and perhaps, in time, we will witness more of her speaking the native language .

Did she make a speech.

I hope so. Furthermore I watched a short video of the last tours around France they did with Albert, and she speaks with the Mayor of a small city (couldn't recall the name ) In English. She just thanks him for the hospitality. A private small talk... in English.....
If I was Monegasque i would feel offended if my Princess after 15 years is unable to talk my language..

Such a lovely family turnout to mark Prince Albert's 20th anniversary of his enthronement !

Congratulations to Pierre and the Yacht Club of Monaco.

Prince Albert and Princess Stéphanie attended the exhibition "Les Clowns Rois du Cirque" in Tourrette-Levens, France:

Princess Charlene and Camille attended the launch of the photographic book "It's A Dog's Life Monaco" yesterday, September 15. All profits will be donated to the Monaco Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA), chaired by Charlene. And there are photos of the the Princely Family with their dogs included in the book! Sounds nice!

Here is a very interesting back story about "It's a Dog's Life Monaco!" author Jessica Fry.
I collect dog books and thought about buying one until I found out it cost €150. It is Monaco, afterall. The charity Monaco SPA should do well.

Princess Stéphanie, Camille, Louis, Marie and Alexandre attended the Global Gift Gala 2025 this evening, October 4:

Camille and Medy Anthony as CMC Consulting founders have brought the event to Monaco and held a press meeting about it yesterday:

A short video from Paris Match showing Stephanie entering the event.

Wow! So nice to see Stephanie out and about in full glam and enjoying the moment.

Two special honours were presented to Princess Caroline and Princess Stéphanie in presence of Prince Albert and some of their children today, October 6. How nice!

This morning, in the Salon des Glaces of the Prince's Palace, in the presence of H.S.H. the Prince, H.E. Mr. Jean d'Haussonville, Ambassador of France to Monaco, presented two high French distinctions.

HRH the Princess of Hanover was elevated to the rank of Grand Cross in the National Order of Merit, and H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie was made an Officer in the National Order of the Legion of Honor.

Meanwhile Pauline and Alexandre attended the Miu Miu Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show in Paris today, October 6:

You rarely see the entire family together anymore. Everyone feels so separated, even at events. So this is such a rare treat. Albert is the only one that individually sees everyone. I loved how Stephanie’s kids were behind Caroline & Caroline’s kids were behind Stephanie. I’m not sure if these rankings mean some kind of extraordinary contribution & hard work or if they’re just the usual rankings presented to them for being royals. But either way, this was a nice surprise.

Today, October 14, Prince Albert and Mélanie as President of the Monegasque Tennis Federation welcomed home and celebrated tennis player Valentin Vacherot after his victory at the ATP Masters 1000 Shanghai.

Mélanie been in Shanghai as well, see here.

I like how Albert splits roles & responsibilities to everyone. Even though Melanie is not in line for the throne, it doesn’t make her any less of a prominent figure. Same with his nieces & nephews since they’re not direct descendants of the reigning prince. This way, everyone gets to represent the royal family & not feel left out because of circumstances.

Prince Albert gave the start for this year's E-Rallye Monte-Carlo today, October 15.

Stéphanie and Pauline attended, Camille participates:
