A few hours before the start of the Vendée Globe, Mr. Pierre Casiraghi, Vice President of the @yachtclubmonaco , confirms that Boris Herrmann is ready to proudly represent the Principality of Monaco aboard Team Malizia for this extraordinary adventure around the world. Fair winds, Boris!

Prince Albert and Pierre at the start of the Vendée Globe today, November 10:

On November 8 Princess Caroline as Honorary President of GEMLUC and Mélanie de Massy attended GEMLUC's annual Evening of Hope.

GEMLUC is the Groupement des Entreprises Monégasques dans la Lutte Contre le Cancer - the Group of Monegasque Companies in the Fight Against Cancer:

Yesterday, November 11, Prince Albert and Pierre attended in the commemoration for Armistice Day in Compiègne, France:

Wonderful to see Prince Albert and the Princess of Hanover at the event!

Lovely photos. The twins are look like they're in seventh heaven. Wonderful to see things through the eyes of youngsters, everything is so amazing to them.

My only quibble would be I wish the lights were more colorful, but that's probably just my '1960s in the South tacky Christmas tree' side coming out. We did love the colorful lights and strings of tinsel.😄

That tree is pretty incredible.
I was there last year just before the switch on and the baubles in casino square were being dressed and they were very beautiful. Monaco is a lovely place to visit for the Christmas displays.

It’s nice to see Charlene so happy about the Christmas lights. Gabriella does not look as excited as her family to me. Not just at this event, but a lot of other times too I’ve noticed her not being into the events.

Yes she's always glum at everything she attends, Jacques is more smiley.

Jacques is "more smiley" as his role model is his father Prince Albert. Jacques is being groomed as the Hereditary Prince, Gabriella perhaps lacks the same positive attention.

I went back and looked at the videos and articles to see if I'd missed something, but I still think they both look equally engaged and enthralled.

She does seem gloomy in a lot of engagements but I don't think she does here. I was pleased to see both she and her mother looking more comfortable. :flowers:

It looked magical and all that was missing was some snow!
Lucky you having experienced it first hand.

Here's a video from the event
